third pov:
     "haha! you can't catch me~!!" y/n yells, smiling as they run away from their best friend, eren jaeger. "i'm gonna get you!!!" he yells back, tailing closer behind them. this is pretty much how it was everyday. tag was erens and y/ns favorite game, so they often played it every single day, of course with mikasa and armin though. "guys, slow down!" armin yells as him and mikasa chase after us. "i got you!" he says as he grabs y/n and tackles them. they both broke into a giggling fit and soon after calmed down. mikasa and armin were still trying to catch their breath, hands on their knees as they look at the ground.

your pov:
     it was a beautiful day outside today. flowers were blooming, as vibrant as ever. the wind was nice and warm. and best of all, i'm hanging out with my best friends! "and right here is what the ocean is supposed to look like. it's a big body of water, its super salty and its full of creatures! isn't that cool?" armin exclaims in excitement. armin has taken a book from his parents. since they were travelers, they had a lot of books about the outside of the walls.
"that's super cool! i wanna see the ocean someday... maybe we can! lets promise each other that we'll go and see the ocean someday!" eren says to us as he holds out his pinky for all of us. "promise!" me, mikasa, and armin say as we interlock our pinkies with erens. i give eren a big cheeky smile as i touch his pinky. i've had the biggest crush on him for the longest time ever. i'm planning on telling him to tomorrow actually! my grandma made a batch of homemade chocolates that i could give to him, so i'm super excited. "eren said he wants to join the survey corps." mikasa says out of no where. w-what? he wants to join the s-survey corps?  i thought. "what? why.. eren? so many people have died from joining the survey corps.." armin said shakily. "mikasa! i told you not to tell anybody!" eren whines. i look at him in shock. this can't be true, right? i think in denial. "i-i.. i don't know what to say.." i say still in shock. "y/n...." eren began, "you know, the survey corps do their best to keep us safe.. they're trying to save humanity and... i just.. i just wanna be apart of that. but i ho-" "no! you're so stupid! do you not realize how many people have died joining the survey corps! who knows what will happen to you! you could go missing and never come back! they could come back through the gates with just your arm left! do you not realize how we would feel if that happened?! how i would feel?!" i yell in frustration, a tear dropping out of my right eye. "y/n please-" he puts his hand on my shoulder. "no! you know what? i'm going home. i'll see you guys later." i shrug his hand off and walk away. "y/n..."

     i wake up in my bed, feeling better after crying for a couple of hours last night. i still can't believe it. why would he think of doing something so dangerous like that? i yawn and get up to head to the washroom. "y/n! breakfast is ready!" i hear my grandma yell from the kitchen. my mom and dad had left me with my grandma. i don't even know if they're still alive. i make my way to the kitchen and sit down at the table, grabbing my spoon to eat the delicious chicken soup she made. "mmm!" i say as i take my first spoonful. "just how you like it, hun." grandma says. i take a bite of the bread next to my bowl. my eyes gleam with delight. "so, are you planning on giving eren the chocolates today?" oh, i had totally forgotten about that. should i? i mean, wouldn't it be kind of awkward after what happened yesterday? well, i have been waiting for this day for a while now.. might as well.. you're also probably wondering how she knows about my crush on eren. most girls wouldn't tell anyone in their family because they would end up telling someone close to eren, but since eren and mikasa live on their own, she has nobody to tell! ha! "u-uh yeah! i will. after i'm done with my chores." i reply. "are you sure? you could go right after breakfast, i'll do your chores today." my grandma says with a sweet smile plastered onto her face. "haha, no thanks! i'll just get my chores over with first."
