Nana was tired.
She had gone to bed at 4 am but was now headed towards the salon to get her hair and makeup done.
It was only 6 am. She had only slept for two hours. It wasn't her manager's fault but she just couldn't fall asleep despite taking her medication which had the side effect of drowsiness.
"Hajun oppa, please wake me up when we get to the salon."
Her manager lowered the volume of the music when he noticed Nana had shut her eyes.
He knew that her medicine wasn't having any effect anymore.
Nana was suffering ever since the saesang tried to break into her home and other saesang incidents.
He didn't wish that Nana who was the only 18 to go through that situation again.
Minsung hyung had already told him about security plans for his niece. Luckily her uncle was part of the board of directors, so he had some say in Nana's career and safety.
When they arrived at the salon, Hajun guided Nana inside.
Hajun had booked Nana a private room as she didn't need people staring at her. Her makeup and hairstylist soon got to work.
Nana only calmed down when she knew that Hajun wasn't going to leave her alone.
She had moved to a new salon after her management knew some of her fans started to go to the same salon she attended.
"Your skin is so good, Nana-ssi."
Nana just gave her a smile as the makeup artist complimented her. Anyone who saw Nana on TV would believe that she was an extrovert, but Nana was truly an introvert. She was often misunderstood because of this.
Hajun saw Nana's action and quickly responded, "Nana's a bit shy so please don't take it the wrong way."
They didn't need people misunderstanding her.It would cause an unnecssary scandal for a rookie.
Soon enough, they were done.
Nana stood from her chair and bowed and waved to the makeup artist and hairstylist.
Nana could have gotten a personal stylist and hairstylist but she was only a rookie therefore she had to go to the salon if it wasn't a music promotion, event or music video shooting.
The makeup artist and hairstylist just watched as Hajun led Nana back into her van.
"He clearly cares about her as an older brother would."
Nana had to do a shoot for Knowing Brothers. Hajun had gotten Nana's outfit which was given to him by Minsung.
It was modest since Nana was still underage, but it showed off the wealth of the company and her family.
Her new mini album was dropping soon, so she was tired these days.
Hajun looked at Nana, he knew that Minsung hyung was going to be on his tail if he saw his niece like this.
Minsung did make him Nana's manager since debut on purpose. He was the main manager of Nana's. Although he was a rookie manager with only two years under his belt; Hajun proved to be a powerful manager.
Hajun was happy to be with Nana as he also saw her as a little sister.
To Nana, Hajun was an older brother.
"Do you need a break after this schedule? You can skip your workout today Naeun."
Nana looked at her phone, "No oppa, I'll do the workout to have some piece of mind."
Nana couldn't help but clear her thoughts when she worked out.
Maybe since her best friend Taehyun was busy since their comeback was only weeks apart.
When Sunghoon, Heeseung and Jay were busy preparing for their debut as ENHYPEN.
As they got to the set of Knowing Brothers, Nana greeted everyone.
"Nana-ssi, you'll be entering with NCT Dream."
That's right. Nana was going to be on Knowing Brothers with NCT Dream.
Nana greeted NCT Dream as they were her sunbaenims.
Nana made eye contact with Na Jaemin. She knew who he was. She saw that her fans shipped her with him. There was an awkward silence between the two when they greeted each other.
It was a mere ghostship yet many fans thought they would be cute together. It made thier interactions awkward
They greeted her back and Hajun quickly took her back to her waiting room.
Soon Nana joined NCT Dream in filming.
Her manager watched her as she joked aorund with the cast. Luckily her mood wasn't affected that much since he blocked off the number that kept calling her.
Nana's biological mother kept on calling her as Nana belonged to a well known company while Nana's half sister was a trainee in a small unknown company.
Since Nana's debut, she has been contacting BigHit Entertainment and personally been calling both Nana and her uncle Minsung.
A woman who never was apart of Naeun's life. It was clear that she had wanted her other daugther to join BigHit Labels as they were powerful now compared to when Nana first joined as a trainee.
Hajun had enough of her harrassing calls, that he finally picked up.
"Ajumma, please stop contacting us otherwise we will file a harrassment claim and a restraining order against you."
"Nana is my daughter. She has to talk to me."
Hajun didn't want to heard another word. He hung up on her. However he quickly dialed Minsung.
"That woman isn't giving up."
Hajun could hear the man sigh.
"Thank you Hajun. I'll take care of it."
Hajun didn't mention the phone call to Nana as she never had contact with the woman since she left when Nana was only one month old.
Hajun drove Nana to the company as she had a training session at the company gym.
As they were walking past the artist practice room, Nana noticed Jay.
"Naeun!" Jay waved.
Jay then noticed her manager walking behind her.
He quickly corrected himself, "Nana sunbaenim."
Hajun just laughed, He knew that Nana was close to both the members of Tomorrow X Together and ENHYPEN.
"Five minutes otherwise you're late Nana."
Nana nodded at Hajun and turned to laugh at Jay.
"Hajun oppa knows that we're close so don't address me so formally."
Jay was scratched the back of his neck, "We haven't made a debut yet so it makes sense to address you formally when other people are around."
Nana laughed, "Everyone in the company knows that we're close."
Nana walked alongside Jay to the practice room, where the rest of the group was practicing. Her phone kept ringing me meaning that Hajun was waiting for her at the gym.
"Alright I have my training session to go to, so I'll see you around."
