Review:

I have just read 5 pages of this beautiful prose and poetry book and I already have so many things to say about it.

I went through this but didn't understand what must the book be about when I read it first.

But. True to its one-lined summary - "every hit of pain/turned my blood into my ink/then into words" - your written words are your pain, which you shared somehow to the world. And that too so beautifully.

And OH MY GOD, Kay! You wordsmith, you! I have to say this. You're not just a poet or a writer. You're much more than that. You're a craftsman who blends poetry and prose together to turn into an art called your writing. Your writing, the true hero, can do wonders to one's heart.

Starting from the title, it touched my heart when I went on to read the masterpiece called your prose. It was you talking to me, and I can't believe that I never thought of this book that way. It was such an interesting take of writing letters to your friends.

I'm always in awe when it comes to your writing, your storytelling and even your stories. But this made my deeper wounds heal, this touched the parts of me which is still scared of the world. It soother me with words I always want to hear from everyone.

Its as if you've woven a silk cloth and wrapped me in it when I'm sad, mad, angry or hurt. The words you've written in here, Kay, makes me happy that I know a person like you, a human like you, and a woman like you.

I not only met a wonderful writer, but also an angel disguised as a human.

You, the daughter of the universe, has hugged me, another daughter of the universe, with kindness, care and all the love in this world.

Your thoughts flow beautifully in here and I'm so glad that I got the opportunity to read this. (I'll continue to read because this book makes me want to keep coming back, I know I'm taking so long because of my work schedule 😭😭)

I don't want to rate the review because I don't think I'm even QUALIFIED to rate your craft yet. I couldn't find any flaws in yoir writing, I just couldn't. This is almost too close to perfection. (almost too close because I don't want to jinx it hehe ;)) And I'm so sorry that I kept my review short and if you expected more from me   :(
I'm also very, very sorry if this review didn't help you at all.
