Part 21

"Hey are you alright?" Calhoun asked and it caught kais attention. His focus was solely on me and I didn't know what to say so I decided to nod instead.

I took my platter and left towards the restroom trying to wrap my brain around my thoughts.

I liked him.

I liked Kai.

Ever since I met him he'd done something to my heartbeat. It was insane to be this attracted to someone in such a short period of time. Was I bonkers?

As I left the bathroom I looked up and stared right into kais face.

"Are you not feeling well? Do you want me to get you some medicine?" Kai asked in a rush and I gripped his denim jacket.

"No, I'm okay." I chuckled as he was brought back to earth. He smiled at me and then poked my nose.

My eyes wondered towards his finger and all I could hear was kais laughter flooding my ears with music.

"Noo how can you be so adorable." He pulled me closer making me gasp.

"I-I I am so sorry!" he said with a shocked expression and I took a step closer.

"It's okay." I said unaware of the confidence I exubed. I just wanted to hug him.

"Eli, you're making this difficult for me." I looked up at him and I couldn't quite tell why those words exited his mouth until...

"Do you want to go to the movie theatre with me?" I grinned wildly as I swung the hem of his jacket from left to right.

His hazel orbs sparkled and his hair glistened in the sun. Part brown and part black shown brightly making his image more sexier.

Kais thumb suddenly landed on my bottom lip. He moved it ever so slightly, which made me hiccup in response to the gentle action.

"You're so beautiful Eli." He whispered before letting go, leaving me wanting more.

"I have to go but see you Saturday night okay?" I nodded absent mindedly.

After handing in my assignment I went towards the field of flowers and found asher standing there by his lonesome.

"Hello." I greeted hesitantly but what I got in return was far from what I expected.

"HI there, I'm sorry about how I treated you." He said smiling at me.

"Hey Eli!" I looked over to son and my eyes widened at the anger on his facial features.

"I told you he was absolutely no good. I'm not lying to you." son said exasperated and I didn't really know how to take his words.

"Asher is what he saying true?" he nodded and suddenly I was confused. Calhoun told me that he'd share his secrets eventually but why was I so skeptical.

"Don't scare him. Calhoun could have changed for him plus that was all in the past anyway."

Son looked to be upset at the entire ordeal and I didnt exactly know what's going on. It felt as if Calhoun did something irreversible.

I looked at son wondered why he didn't just tell me what happened since he so adamantly explained that Calhoun had done so many questionable things.

I sighed. I was glad that he was trying to warn me though. It seemed he and asher were thee only ones, but why did I feel they had different reasons for loathing Calhoun.

It was Saturday and because Id been studying for my test the entire Friday and Saturday morning and afternoon I slept through my alarm.

Kai was now having a full blown conversation with her as I rushed to find something to wear.

My smiled broadened as I thought about the events that was about to take place. I was never in a movie theatre and it didn't matter. As long as I was with him.

I took out a dark denim dungaree and paired it with a mustard coloured hoody. I placed on some white socks and placed a pair of black and white sneakers on, which had some sunflower designs. I chuckled at them, they were adorable.

Before I could enter the living room Emily pulled me into her room.

"I bought this for you! Just hold on"

"Emily you don't need to buy me so many things. Your presence is rich enough." She looked at me stunned by my wording and then hugged me.

"you deserve the world and more sweetheart, but that guy out there is sexy is hell and you're going to need to smell good." she decided to spray me from head to toe which made me end up in a fit of caughs. She chuckled as she hit my back lightly whilst apologising.

She placed some strawberry flavored lip balm on my lips and snuck it in my pocket. She winked at me and I blushed profusely.

As soon as I walked into the large dining room I saw him. He wore a leather jacket with a white t-shirt underneath. His hair was a lighter shade of brown now, he got a shorter hair cut as well and I loved every bit of it . His jeans fit his strong legs perfectly and he wore some black boots.

He looked sexy.

So good looking I couldn't hear my name being called thee times.

"Sorry." my cheeks burned as I continued to stare at him.

"You look adorable Eli." I ddknr expect him to say it in front fo Emily! I didn't know whether to scream in glee or cower in fear.

"He does doesn't he! Takes after me!" Kai laughed warmly at her as she pushed me into his direction.

"Call me when you get home okay? I just want to know whether you're safe." she hugged me and then we left.

"I brought my car, I saw the way you were looking at my motorcyle in complete fear." He chuckled and I stared at him in awe.

Kai moved and slowly pushed me against the door of the car.

"If you continue to stare at me like that..." I could feel his breathe on my cheek. His right hand reached for my waist and pulled me towards his body. The heat emitting from my being was enough to light the world on fire.

He smoothly opened the door with his left hand and smiled at me as if he didn't just do all of that.

"Careful." He said as I got inside feeling very flustered.

"I SAW ALL OF THAT. USE A CONDOM KIDS."
