Jasper pov
We had finished telling our story's, and didn't have anything else important to talk about. My family filled in the time with random chatter and I knew by now we were just delaying what had to happen soon. None of my family wanted Lynn to leave, even Rosalie had grown to like her - and that was saying something. "Look it is getting late and I really don't want to impose on your family anymore, so I will go now." Lynn said getting up. I felt Esme's heart break, the idea of loosing one of her children was unbearable to her and even in only a few hours Lynn had certainly became that. As if Sensing Esme's pain, Carlisle spoke "Maybe you should stay a couple days, you know to avoid Laurent or Victoria." Lynn seemed to consider and we could only hope she would stay.
Edward pov
I knew none of my family wanted her to leave but I couldn't think if anything better than what Carlisle had said so I waited, my arm around Bella.
I am really lazy so that would help....but I also have social anxiety so this is making me even more scared then facing Victoria.... -Lynn
Esme was practically crossing her fingers and Carlisle was silently hoping Lynn would see reason and stay.
"I mean, I suppose a day or two wouldn't hurt...I am very lazy so..." My family beamed. Even Bella, she looked so beautiful when she smiled. She was definitely the most - crap! I need to stop doing that and pay attention. Jasper gave me a knowing smile.
