Edward pov
I sat pretending to read whilst actually just watching my love. Bella was reading Wuthering heights again. Rosalie walked in and looked at Bella, "She is still here?" Rosalie said sneering. I saw red and was about to say something but Lynn beat me to it. "Not you being a bitch to Bella again." What? But also, Ha! Emmett stiffled a chuckle after a sharp look from Rose. Rosalie snapped her head around to Lynn, "What's that supposed to mean?" She asked with a charming sneer printed on her face. "Its suppose to mean that I see absolutely no reason for you too be so rude to Bella." Rose was frozen in anger, and I was struggling to hold back my smile. "But..."She continued, " You are absolutely gorgeous, so you can get away with it. You know, pretty privileg and all. " Pretty privileg? What on earth was she talking about? Rosalie seemed to notice as she gave Lynn another glare . "Be disrespectful to me one more time girl, see what happens." Emmett walked up and tried to calm Rose down to no avail. Lynn held up both her hands in surrender. Emmett practically pulled Rose out of the room. "Thank you." I told her. She raised an eyebrow, "For what?"
"For standing up for Bella." She just shrugged. I turned back to Bella and got lost in her eyes. "Ewwww." I knew who was talking.
Jasper pov
I walked back into the living room, Alice by my side. Bella had long left and Edward was also gone, driving her home. We knew he wouldn't be back until tomorrow. Me and my Alice sat down and I started playing with her short hair whilst Carlisle and Lynn sat on the other end of the couch reading some sort of book. Lynn looked up to check the time, and a frown appeared on her small face. "Shouldn't Edward be back by now?" I smiled as Alice's bell like voice spoke up, "Edward won't be back until tomorrow. He stays with Bella." Lynn nodded. "That's....cute I guess. As long as she knows he is there."
"She does now." I answer. Lynn nods then realises what I said. "Wait, now?!' I laugh and so does Alice. Carlisle just smiled and he and Lynn turned back to whatever they were reading, probably something to do with his backstory. I turned back to Alice.
