After my first few classes, things died down a bit. They didn't talk about my sister's accident as much, but that didn't stop the pitying stares I got walking past people. Like I know my sister was brutally attacked, but can you not look at me? That would be great. I sigh before settling in my seat at lunch, I close my eyes trying my hardest to drown out the people around me. Suddenly I feel arms wrap around me, and a heavy weight on my back.

"Hey bestie.." I hear the soft voice of my best friend Camille say from behind me.

I open my eyes and look over my shoulder at her, "Yo," I say simply before looking back at my food. She settles into her seat next to me before staring at me, obviously waiting for me to talk to her about the situation, but not wanting to come right out and say it. "I don't wanna talk about it Cami, can we talk about ANYTHING else?"

She smiles at me nodding slightly, completely understanding as she always is with me before rambling on about random stuff.

I zone out, listening to only the sound of Camille's voice before I hear a loud thud on the other side of me, I look over and see none other than the reddish eyed devil from earlier, he smirks and I know automatically that this isn't gonna go well.

"Hey Ara, what's up?" he says simply, shocking me. I look at him for a moment trying to gauge his intent. "I know you're enjoying the view, but it's not nice to stare," he jokes.

"What the hell do you want?" I say sharply, not wanting to deal with the same person who threatened my brother

"Ouch, hostile," he raises his hands in mock defense as I glare at him, "I just wanted to check on you, and see if your brother thought on what I said," he replies simply.

"What? I thought you dropped that," I say, slightly shocked but at the same time not surprised at all. Very conflicted emotions there I know, you're really great mind.

He laughs, standing up. "Of course I didn't drop that, one little brat like yourself isn't going to stop me from getting what I want. Tell your brother to come and talk to me about a deal, or things might just slip out," he says smirking.

"Arabella, do you want me to get ri-" Camille starts, but I cut her off before she can finish, standing up and getting as close as I could into Lewis's face with our height difference.

"You're gonna forget you heard ANYTHING, or so help me I'll-"

"You'll do what, you really think I am scared of a little girl like you?" He says smirking. I pause for a moment, trying to maintain my cool, and he laughs. "Look, just as weak and pathetic as her broth-" and with that I tackle him, punching him square in the jaw. He looks up at me with surprise before getting angry and shoving me off of him. He stands up and steps towards me, and right before he retaliates...of course a teacher shows up.

"YOU TWO, OFFICE, NOW!" The man yells, before grabbing Lewis by the arm to stop him from responding further. Lewis ticks and rips his arm away with a glare to both me and the man and makes his way to the office. I lower my head, and slowly make my way to the office as well.

We sit on opposite sides of the office, the teacher that found us is standing in the corner, making sure no further incident occurs. I look up slightly to see Lewis staring at me, obviously angry, and I quickly lower my head again. We wait a few more minutes until we see the principal come out of her office, she stays silent with a stern look on her face, gesturing for both of us to follow her to her office. A silent walk continues into a silent few minutes sitting in the office. I nervously rustle around, not used to this, before the principal FINALLY begins. "I reviewed the security cams and still, my only question is what happened. We have one of my best students, never been in a fight or sent to the office at all, punch a student I see....let's just say on a regular basis, in the face after a conversation. What the hell went through your head Arabella, and what the hell could you have possibly said to set her off Lewis."

I was about to begin speaking when Lewis cut me off, "It was my fault, I was talking shit about her brother and sister and then went after her as well, I wanted her brother to do something, let's just say homework so I don't incriminate myself more, in exchange for a keeping what I heard about personal issues, that do not involve me in the slightest, a secret."

The principal and I stare at him in slight surprise before she clears her throat and begins, "That's a first, Arabella is this the truth?" she says, pausing while I nod in response, "well then, even though Lewis started it, we have zero tolerance for fighting physical or otherwise. You will both be serving a week worth of detention, after school, starting tomorrow, and a call will be sent to your parents or guardian informing them on the situation. I hope you will both learn your lesson...I guess, Lewis, you know the way there, just let her know...you're dismissed," and with a wave of her hand Lewis walks out, I give a small nod and apology to the principal, who sighs and nods back, before leaving.

I walk out of the office, seeing Lewis waiting for me at the door. "I'll meet you at your last class tomorrow to show you the way."

"Why don't you just tell me the room number," I ask.

"It's easier this way,"

"But do you even kn-"

"I'll find it," is all he responds with before walking away.
