Just as Ivar and Stacie predicted, Kai adjusted to the new life pretty quickly. Even though it was difficult for him he tried not to dwell on the past and just live in the moment with gratitude he was given a second chance at life. Even though he inherited his own estate from his father, he preferred to live together with Ivar, Stacie, and their mother for the time being. After missing out on two decades, neither he nor his family was ready to part with each other yet. And Kai's relationship with Ivar strengthened even more, now that they were both adults and more on the same page and same interests. Kai got to know Stacie a little more and came to respect her a great deal. And he just adored Leone. With her around, days were just filled with shenanigans and fun, bringing back the good'ol times when Ivar was little.
Later, Stacie and Ivar found out they were going to have a baby boy, and they both were extremely excited about it. But since he couldn't be named after Ivar's father, because Leone took that name, they decided to name him after Stacie's dad, and Ivar's brother, Caleb Kai O'rell.

After Kai recovered and was back to his sharp, strong self again, he rejoined the royal court and was welcomed with honors and pride. And he was offered a co-minister position alongside Damaris which he gladly accepted. From that point on, he and Damaris were working together and ended up falling for each other. Even though Kai was ten years older than her, she felt they suited each other so well, that for the first time ever she realized how wrong she was to hang onto Ivar. Finally, Damaris understood what it is to truly fall in love with someone, and she now knew what Ivar felt for Stacie. And what a mistake she almost made, by trying to forcefully separate them. Kai, however, could not understand how Ivar couldn't fall for such an incredible, beautiful woman, as Damaris. But at the same time, he was glad of it because Damaris was now his. Sometime later, the two got married and moved to Kai's estate.

Almost as soon as Ionee was born, Aries and Assarel found out they were having fraternal twins, a boy, and a girl. Which was the most exciting news for literally everyone, because that doesn't happen very often among Satterans. The king and queen and Assarel's and Damaris's parents were especially ecstatic. The royal twins were Ionee's first friends with whom she spent most of her time while living on Sattera. Which gave their parents an excuse to remain close as before, since the royal couple could not visit Atlantis as they pleased. Ionee loved sharing with them all her stories from her travels to Earth. And they loved all the little gifts, books, and toys she would always bring back with her for them. They were mostly spoils from her 'Earth grandma' as she called Stacie's mom. But that also resulted in quite a bit of envy among the kids since Ionee got to travel a lot everywhere but they weren't allowed to. Except maybe Atlantis once in a blue moon. And maybe Zhalian resorts for vacations. But they still weren't allowed to visit Earth, where according to Ionee's stories, they have fun amusement parks with all sorts of fun rides and roller coasters, and the zoo's with all sorts of strange animals, and petting zoo's where you can play with them. And camping trips with Ionee's earth grandma and her adopted 'sister' Eva and many, many other fun things to do. Which kind of made Aries and Assarel secretly consider to visit that 'mysterious' place. At their kid's constant pestering, that is.
Stacie and Ivar mainly lived on Sattera, but they traveled a lot between Atlantis, and Earth as a family. They would spend at least a month or two on Earth every year, visiting with Stacie's mother, and so that Stacie wouldn't feel nostalgic. Ionee and Eva became very close really quickly, making it the main reason for traveling to Earth. From time to time, even Stacie's mom was allowed to visit Atlantis along with her adopted daughter, and at those time, Ivar and Stacie would bring Ionee there too, so that the girls could spend that time together. Ionee and Eva remained best friends for the rest of their lives. They were as close as sisters, being related through adoption and pretty much growing up together.

Alice and Tony also got married a few years later. They had a small wedding on Earth, with all their closest friends from the crew being invited, including Aries and Assarel. That was the first time the royal couple actually had a chance to finally visit Earth incognito. Ionee, Eva, and of course the royal twins had the honor of participating in their wedding by being the flower girls and a ring bearer as Alice desired.

Frank served his penalty, cleared his name, and earned reinstatement. Upon returning to Atlantis, he found Stacie married to Ivar and was furious about it though he never dared to express it. And he also never dared to approach either Stacie, Ivar, or their child, having learned his lesson. He just resented the sight of the happy little family in silence from extreme jealousy, and destain for their mixed 'half-alien' offspring. As adorable as she may be. But oh well, no one really cared about him anyway. After what he did last time, he was sort of seen as a major jerk and pretty much was alienated.
And that's the end of the "Beyond The glowing Whirlpool" story. Thank you so much for reading it and sticking with it to the very end. Thank you for putting up with my typos, and maybe some grammatical errors if you happened to spot them. I couldn't really catch them all, given the fact that English is my second language, those things just slip right past me. And I am extremely grateful for your support and your wonderful feedback and all the fun comments. This was an extremely pleasant experience and such a joy to create those characters, and giving them their own unique story. I am glad those characters found love and admiration in so many readers from all over the globe! Really, that is the biggest compliment a writer can get. I am still amazed at all the reads and favorites I got, I truly did not expect that, since my story doesn't really fall into a current preference trend and a bit unconventional. But I was pleasantly surprised it was able to pull people in regardless, and my readers were able to enjoy it none the less.
Thank you all.
Have a wonderful life everyone, stay strong, happy, healthy, and creative.
