I walk with Luna to the guild, our hands interlocked as she's resting her head on my shoulder. We're both the same height, so we alternate between who's the big spoon, but I'm the one that's mainly the big spoon, even though I'm ice cold the touch.

We walk into the guild and she goes off to start work, and I head over to a table to relax until it's dusk, so I can take a quest. I've heard people talking about how I don't seem fully human, especially since I'm a nocturnal assassin, how I always seem to always be near Luna's neck, and my crimson red eyes but I'm not a crimson demon. But nobody has asked me if I'm a vampire, and if they do, I'm not gonna try to hide it. I see the group of 4 enter the guild and they head over to my table, I see some adventurers get up to stop them but I give them the signal it's ok. The group sits down at the table, and I give them a cautious look, ready to run if needed.

Guy: "hey, sorry about last night. I know we kinda pressured you, and scared you off. And we're all very sorry about aqua trying to attack you, it was uncalled for."

"It's alright, I guess she just wanted answers."

Aqua: "ok spill it! What's the deal with you! There's no way your a human, I can sense your an undead!"

It goes dead quiet and everyone looks at me, Luna looks nervous but I give her a small reassuring smile. I then stand up on the table to gain everyone's attention.

"Listen up! I've heard the talk about me not being fully human, and I believe most of you already know what I am. But for those of you that don't, I'm gonna tell you right now!"

Luna: "No Camila! Please don't!"

I give her an apologetic look and the turn back to the people.

"It's true I'm an undead!"

I hear a collection of gasps and whispers

"To be exact, I'm a vampire, a day walker. Meaning I don't get hurt by the sun!"

More people whisper and some people give me sympathetic looks.

"I'm not your enemy! I came here to live a quiet and peaceful life! I live in a apartment, take quests, and feel love just like the rest of you!"

Random girl: "how do we know your not with the demon general?!"

"I don't side with him, in fact, I don't take a part of this war. As I said, I'm here for a quiet and peaceful life. Truth be told I've grown to love this guild and the town of Axel! I want nothing more than to stay in my apartment and read by my fireplace. Some of you know what actions I have taken to protect not only this guild, but this entire town!"

Guy1: "she's right! Me and my brother lost our mage to the newbie killer, and she killed him, and gave back the money to the family and friends of those who died."

Girl1: "she killed a guy who had been stealing from women, thanks to her, I've gotten my mothers necklace back!"

Guy2: "like my brother said, she's done nothing but help! She's not our enemy, she's our savior!"

"I don't expect you all to like or trust me, but I just want you all to know, that I have only the best intentions for this guild and town."

I hear people clap and cheer, some raising drinks and others raising their weapons. I see Luna has a large smile, as she wipes some tears from her eyes.

Luna: "cheers, to Axel's savior!"

Everyone but Aqua let's out cheers, and Aqua gives me a death stare. I step off the table and then time seems to slow as Aqua yells out a spell that makes me feel like I'm being burned alive.

Aqua: "TURN UNDEAD"

I let out a loud scream as everyone watches in horror, I then fall backwards as I see Luna rush over and catch me, laying me down on the ground gently.

Luna: "do we have any dark mages here?!?!"

A few people in dark robes rush over and assess the damage before ones eyes widen.

Dmage1: "her body is rejecting the magic! She's unable to be purified!"

Dmage2: "you mean she's a vampire for all of eternity?!"

I cough as I sit up a bit and give a pained smirk

"Heh, I've been blessed as a goddess to become a vampire, meaning your turn undead won't work on me!"

That causes whispers to break out again, and Luna helps me stand up as I lean on her. She glares at Aqua, as does the rest of our guild. 

Luna: "For attacking a member of the guild, and your 3 million Eris debt to the guild that has been yet to be paid, the guild hereby temporarily revokes your adventurer's card, and have you work unpaid to get your debt paid off here at the guild." 

I see some adventurer's forcefully take her license away as she bursts into tears, begging the guy named Kazuma to help her. I then see some waitresses take her into the workers room, her wailing fading as she gets dragged away. I see an adventurer hand Luna Aqua's  adventurer card, and she leads us over to her desk, where she stamps it leaving a 3 month adventuring ban visible mark. She then puts the card in a drawer, and turns to me, tears start to slip from the corners of her eyes as she hugs me tightly.

I kiss her tears away, and hug her head into my breasts, as she slowly stops crying. 

"It's ok Luna, I'm ok, and I'm never gonna leave your side..."

Luna: "I was so scared that I lost you.."

"I'm ok, so don't worry so much about me.."
