The Acerbic Dining Hall
and the Benign Dining HallNow the Tsarevna Aurelia was getting ready for the feast for the young king welcome.
Agniya was wrapping a corset around the girl.A/N: Yes, girls at this young wore corsets. 6 to 8 months they started wearing corsets.
"What is he like?" The older girl tighten the corset.
"I don't know. I said only nearby five words."
Aurelia stood in front of a cheval mirror whilst the lady-in-waiting situating the corset.
"Do you think he'll be a good husband?" Agniya held slight hope in her aquamarine eyes for the girl.
"He seemed just as panic on his visage as I belike did." Aurelia frowned in reflection of the mirror.
Agniya fluffed Aurelia's brunette tress; then she crouched down to Aurelia's level.
"Just know I will be here for you either way."
Agniya smiled genuinely.
Aurelia muttered a soft 'thank you'; and gave her a cordial, chaste kiss on the cheek.•••
The corridors were dark with the exception of the gold hues of candles. Clerestories letting in moon and star light with tinges of ink from the night sky.
The vestibules were bare
omitting young Aurelia sluggishly plodded to the dining hall; fiddling with her fingers.
Occasionally peeking her circumambiences.
Every time: nothing was in moor of vision. She came to two mammoth sized doors.
The guards on both sides of the doors lugged the doors open for the tsarevna.
She muttered a 'thank you' as she ambled past the doors.
The hall was of three long tables side by side.
It was also brimming with salient people and aristocrats.Everybody in the dining hall turned their head to the new comer.
And at the front of the room, a table with its ends facing the wall.
The table in the end of the hall, was for the royal family and the king.
The young girl felt(and likely looked) sheepish as she ambled the long walk to the regal table.
All eyes were now on her.
Tsaritsa Polina stared straight tediously but phlegmatic. And her father, Tsar Vladimir, corners of his lips turned up as the tsarevna bashfully dawdled.
Aurelia would have walked more brisk if it was not for her mother watching her(she did not want to know what the Tsaritsa Polina would do if she did not walk "proper". Alas she did know).
Vladimir coaxed her to take a seat by himself. But as most of us, knows:
Humans are better to hearken to fear than to ethicals.
So when the tsaritsa gave her an acrid look; Aurelia reoriented courses. And went to sit parallel with King Charles.
Vladimir slowly lead his gaze to his wife,
to give her a jaded mien.
And Polina outstared the linear ahead. This was the wonted relationship of the tsar and tsaritsa. Even though they would feign for the world-The tsaritsa would have to, anyways.
It was not a mutual correlation. The tsaritsa spurned Vladimir behind close doors.
But no matter how much Polina scorned and array mutiny to Vladimir, he would solely display love and tenderness. Which he genuinely felt for the acerbic woman. The tsarevna and king sat side by side, but did not utter a word to the other, much to Polina's dismay.
Taking it into her own hands, "King Charles. Tell me: how do thou feel about Russia so far?
I have heard; that you have ne'er been to Russia. Must be very different from your Spain. So tell me." Polina was quite a outspoken person; she knew how to get under someone's skin;
as well, as to wile you.
The child that was addressed contemplated for a moment of what the shrewd woman had said.
"It is very contrasting from Spain. Ghent, Spain was 35.5 Celsius when we left. And hither it is 13.8889." Polina had her elbows on the table(I know. Surprised the whole family, the young king, who didn't know her for long, and me, who knows exactly what the tsaritsa was doing.
