It has been one tedious week since the run in the garden. For Jane anyways.

Jane knew Aurelia had work to be intended to, but that didn't make Jane's own life any less tedious.

~~~
Aurelia was over the head in meetings and privies.
Aurelia knew Jane was probably soporific out of her mind. But this was her duty, her obligation.
Aurelia asked her ladies in waiting, Lara and Ilona, a few times to see if the Queen was alright. They invariably come back with the same unchanging information: Jane would thank them for coming but tell them she wishes for solitary
Aurelia was discussing with Henry about the alliance when he bought up a very inappropriate conversation; they were conversing about the rural towns of their people, when Henry made more than inappropriate comment. Aurelia knew he didn't just this alliance to have intercourse with her; there were other reasons. It was a prodigious chance for Henry to have Russia on his side
But thankfully the uncomfortable air only lasted for nanoscopic amount of time; and they were able to return to their topics of their countries
It was after the midday meal, and Aurelia was asking around where Queen Jane was. It was all the duplicate answer; the servants, the courtiers, the advisories all said the same: they hadn't see her today.
So there was Aurelia aimlessly looking in and out of lashings of doors; she would peak in glance around the proximity of the old room, and then move on to the next allegorical door.
Aurelia came to a paneled two door(most of the doors were one doors), she pulled on the handle, the creaking hinges apprising the people(if they were any) of her presence. The lintel of the door was elevated(most of them were).
Aurelia eyes coruscated to the corners of the room; it appeared to be a library
Books with fantasies and philosophers jostled together
Pillows thrusted one place to another; trying to find comfort
It was an alcove. It probably been years since it has been wielded
Then Aurelia perceived the linear, flaxen tress and mechanically knew who it was
She was glaring at a book(do you ever not know how to do something so you intensely stare at it hoping if you stare at it long enough you will know how to do it?) well, that is what Jane was doing.
"Need some help?" Aurelia smirked, gliding over to her. "Damn it!" Jane cursed. Aurelia's smirk just came more cocky.
"Why did you do that!" Jane reached for her book she lost grasp of, in the adrenaline. "I thought it would be amusing." Aurelia's smirk just as strong as before. "I don't think it was." Jane mumbled. Aurelia looked over Jane's shoulder, "You said you can't read." Aurelia recalled, wondering why Jane would be louring at a page.
"I can't. But I thought this might help." Jane voiced her thoughts. "You won't just miraculously learn how to read by glaring at the page." Aurelia smiled, sincerely. Plopping herself beside the queen she commenced with the trivial words like the ones you and I used to learn when we were children.
Aurelia has been tutoring Jane for the past few hours. Jane was coming on quite well. Jane could cognize puny words; like: a, at, be, the.
"What is that word?" Jane wrenched her eyebrows together.
"Try to voice the syllables." Aurelia urged.
"T-ga-ra?" Jane tried. "No. That is an 'i'. It makes a i-i-igloo. And that is an 'e' and a 'r'. 'E' makes e-e-egg. 'R' makes a r-r-rhino." Aurelia tells. "Tig-er?" Jane guesses. "No. But close.
Ti-ger." Aurelia smiles at her improvement. "Oh. Ti-ger." Jane smiled back. "The sun is setting. We should get going to dinner." Aurelia stand up, staring out the window.
"Why?" Jane whined. Happy she could finally read. She has been dreaming of this for a yore time. Aurelia chuckled, at Jane's childishness. "Now look at whom didn't want to leave now." Referring to the day in the garden; when Jane thought Henry would want her coming back to the palace.
Jane let her eyes roll back in her head. Regardless, Aurelia ascended her hand to Jane; which Jane accepted. "How about," Aurelia tried to compromise. "we meet here everyday. And I in instruct you on the studies." "Just us?" Jane inquired.
"Just us." Aurelia conformed.
So then Jane popped up; and both girls walked to the dining hall.
