An Athenaeum...and an Office

All morn it was raining a livid-blue. The grey overheads, crumbled autumn leaves saturated and marshy, the once dry brindle ground now miry and drenched bare dirt; like when you drive through a puddle and an ant was standing beside the puddle.

Jane was dreaded tomorrow(tomorrow Aurelia will be departing). Tomorrow would be the end of jollification-and Henry semi-totable.
King Henry had to put on sapid impression on Russia and their tsaritsa.

~~~
Aurelia and her ladies were preparing for their departure of England to their home.
Aurelia's ladies, Lara and Ilona, could cognized that Aurelia was timid about their withdrawal. But Aurelia did a bodacious role of being phlegmatic; it was expected and "proper" of a sovereign.
Lara tried to elate Aurelia with her satire and quips(it did no good. Unalike all the other times),
Ilona tried to retrieval nostalgic memories of Russia, their home,(neither did that work-in the beginning it seemed to quasi-work).
The Tsaritsa Aurelia and her ladies in waiting were finished(after a tedious long time) packing their things, and Lara and Ilona conformed they would be alright for awhile without their tsaritsa.
So Aurelia advanced to the place she knew Jane would be: their sub rosa athenaeum,
But when Aurelia was ascending down the corridors she was met with the king.
"King Henry." Aurelia gave idle bow.
"Tsaritsa Aurelia," Henry bowed back.
"after you are done preparing for your departure, come to my chambers to discuss." Was all he said, fore vanishing into the tenebrous hall; which gave off scant gilt hues.
Aurelia glimpse behind her, then shrugged it off, and continued to go via the labyrinth of corridors.
The halls were inky with lusters of fulgurations.
Finally coming to the library, athenaeum.
As inspected Jane was sitting in a alcove gazing at a book; Aurelia instructed Jane the best for herself to read as a pupil.
"How well are you reading?" Aurelia whispered, as she shut the ebony paneled door.
"I think well, but I still don't think I can read that adequately." Jane whispered back, finally locking gazes with Aurelia.
