"Sentences are always only half conveyed if you can't see the other person's facial expressions."

*Fleur London*

I carefully observed his features. He had a very peculiar way to hiding his face. He hid his eyes, his jaw and his neck. But not the rest of his face. All I could see was his nose and cheeks. He wore sunglasses at night, I couldn't even see the colour of his eyes.

My stance was that of an attacker. I believed he won't attack first like the last time.

'Alpha! We are right behind you!' The Chief Commander of warriors who were assigned the task of catching this mysterious man said via mind link.

'Where!' I whispered back, making sure not to let anything show on my face and maintaining focus on the same time.

'We are at a safe distance so that he can't smell us behind the tall building of SSRM publishing. Just direct the fight in a such a way that you come closer to us. Then, we'll be able to completely surround him.'

Sounds like a plan, I thought, as I directed the first kick towards him.

He dodged my kick and moved forward, I moved forward too and turned around. It was almost like we exchanged places.

I smirked internally. Now all I had to do was keep attacking him. Knowing him, he'll try to dodge my attacks by moving backwards.

And that's what we want.

Out of all the things that were frustrating about this man. This habit of his to never attack topped the list.

I was severely annoyed by the time we neared the building. My legs and arms were getting tired after constantly trying to attack, and although I had managed to land a few punches, he remained unfazed.

I clenched my jaw in anger as my eyes flickered towards the board of SSRM publishing company. Have patience, I told myself, we are almost there.

Last one, I thought, as mustered energy to throw one last punch at him.

Midway through it felt like it would hit his face and I was happy. But to my horror, it didn't and he catched my hand at the last moment, using it to pull me towards him.

Twisting my body, such that my back was pressed his chest, he held me in a locked grip.

I struggled against his grip. Remembering and trying all the moves I was taught in my martial arts class, I tried to free myself but no one of them worked even a bit.

"Let go, you bastard." I growled. "And fight like proper wolves."

"Stop struggling." He said, "I won't hit you."

A shiver ran down my spine after hearing his velvety deep voice, and my heart almost skipped a beat.

Probably a shiver of disgust, I thought as I continued struggling.

"You must be one of those men who think they become look great and mighty when they don't hit a girl." I said, in a mocking tone.

"But this isn't between a girl and a guy. This is between an alpha who's land was trespassed and the trespasser." I added.

He ignored my comment.

"Your pack must be nearby. Considering how desperately you were trying to make me move backward." He said, his eyes searching for the pack.
