Heal Me (Aizawa x Male OC)

Chapter 2

  "So Newbird how is saving lives going" It had been two weeks since Chase started working at UA as their new Recovery Boy. His days were filled with filing, healing, and ultimately chatting with Hawks between classes and during lunch. Even though Hawks did eventually learn Chase's name he still kept with the nickname cause it made the recovery boy's cheeks a sunset sky.

  "I always tell you I dont save lives Hawks" Chase's giggle treated the empty hall as if it was an old cathedral, it echoed far as to fill Aizawa's room waking him up from his nap. The kids where all at lunch so it was a free period and/or lunch period for the teachers. The two duo always ate in Hawks room much to Aizawa's agony. He would sit there and listen as Hawks would say dinner food type compliments to the naïve recovery boy who ate it up as if it was gourmet.  

He saw the two of them outside his class and just stared. Chase with his back against the window wide eyed with admiration as Hawk stood smug, arms crossed, elbow leaning against the same window. Looking as if they were a cliché teen romance in a 90's high school setting. The two stared at each other not in any hurry to ruin this moment and get lunch. Then one of Hawks feather left his wing, floating up for the destination of desire. Aizawa watched as Chases face stayed still but his eyes moved following the feather out of curiosity of where the red fluffy finger would go. It slowly approached the revovery boys face and as Aizawa watched the younger boys pink cheeks turn red he used his quirk to make the feather quickly slam to the floor before the top of it could even graze Chase's face. 

This caused a ripple affect of a now angry Hawk jumping off of the window and turning around to look into Aizawa's class, seeing the door was wide open. Meanwhile as the two shared a furious glance, Chase just looked at Aizawa with a confused expression wondering why, specially since he was still staring at Hawks not blinking as if to tell him to back away. 

"Felt too voyeuristic old guy" whenever Hawks teased anyone there was always this level of cocky that wavered in his voice almost as if a indicator that he was teasing, but whenever he talked to Aizawa that level of smug was never there just bitterness and annoyance. 

"Rich coming from you" Aizawa had no intention on harnessing Hawks reputation infront of Chase given the fact the two had just met and he'd soon find out on his own who Hawks really is. Yet that being said part of him wanted to strangle Hawks for daring to even think about treating Nurse Day as some ordinary staff member to use and ditch. That anger that festered inside him like cavity on a white tooth confused Aizawa to say the least. He finally blinked causing Hawks to be able to collect his feather once again. Chase stayed silent. Watching the incounter with a confused glance at now both parties 

"Whatever, let's go eat this lunch before it gets cold on us now newbird" His body was completely towards Chase and he now had his cocky smirk on his face again looking at the confused nurse, pretending nothing happened. As the two walked into Hawks class Aizawa got out of his seat and slammed his door shut, hoping to isolate himself in silence and not hear anymore of the new flings conversation 

"Why did Aizawa say, thats rich coming from you?" was the first thing Chase asked when the two walked in pulling a small chair up to Hawks desk. Hawks new that his pass was going to catch up with him at some point, specially with Aizawa being right next to his class. He sighed, open his take out and looked up at Hawks.

"The truth is I used to be in nicer terms, somewhat of a flirt when I first started working at UA. " He grabbed some terrayaki chicken with his chopsticks and continued, "Basically I needed to make friends and the only way I know how to get close to people is to get 'close' with people" with his other hand that wasnt starting to shove his face he quoted the second close putting emphasis of the connation that lied.

"Oh" there wasnt really anymore that the Recovery Boy could say. He just stared blankly at the closed white foam container that held his food and slowly opened it. So is this just him getting close, he wondered to himself while the bird boy was busy stuffing white rice in his cheeks. 

"It's different with you kid" his words were muffled given the dinner bowl that was in his mouth's cheeks and on his tongue. His words were half true but half lies depending on if the glass of water to you is half full or half empty. Chase stared blankly at him while he continued, "for some reason Im just drawn to you like no other". 

Later Chase would learn that this phrase was nothing more then a car sale pitch. For now, however, this was one of the most romantic lines anyone had ever said to him. Making all his doubt subside and ultimately take a piece of terrayaki chicken and eat it.
