it had been two months since daniel had woken up. two months of missing corbyn and begging his mum to help him
find corbyn so they could be together.
"have you seen zach since he moved?" daniel asked jack as he wheeled back into the living room. yeah, daniel was still paralyzed. he was in a wheelchair, which he hated.
"no," jack shook his head. "he's getting ready for school cause it's his junior year in two weeks" he replied. daniel too was starting his junior year.
he was being held back a year, cause he missed the entire 11th grade year he'd have to redo it. he however wasn't looking forward to that. not at his school anyway. everyone he knows was about to be a senior- besides zach and on top of that he was in a wheelchair.
for a month daniels mom had been telling him that they were moving to a more affordable part of town. his medical bills were a lot to work with.
"hey dani, sweetie can we
talk?" keri asked walking into the room.
"sure mom,"
"so i have good news and bad news. but mostly good news. which one do you wanna hear first?" daniel sighed, wheeling his chair around to see his mom.
"bad first"
"well. bad news is, the house we were going to move in to, fell through. so now we have to move further than i thought"
"what? how much farther?" daniel asked in an incredulous tone. jack watched all of this silently.
"well that's the good news- were moving to texas! yay!" daniel looked at the lady with a deadpan-
"how is that good news?" he asked.
"well this is what makes it
lost my good news. i found a house in the same town the herrons moved to" keri said.
the herrons? they sounded familiar.
"z-zach?" jack choked in the background. oh it was zachs last name.
"yeah, and apparently the whole reason they moved was because zachs dad remarried and it's cheaper to live in texas so they moved down there. the lady he remarried has a kid."
daniel didn't say anything, inside of where this was going.
"and her kid just a happens to be a corbyn besson!" keri cheered and daniel wouldve fallen out of his wheelchair had it been possible!
"IM GONNA SEE CORBYN!"
"yeah, hunny! also jack, i talked to your parents and since you're 18, they agreed to let you live with us as long as you get enrolled into school."
jack choked audibly.
"IM GONNA SEE ZACH?! dani WERE GONNA SEE OUR BOYS!"
