Dean x Reader

(It's around 9pm on a Friday)
You and Team Free Will had been lounging around the bunker all day. After playing one last game of Clue, you decided to head in for the night so you went to your room.

You walked over to your dresser and pulled out a pair of black sweatpants and a navy tank top. You went into your bathroom and changed your clothes. When you were done, you decided you wanted to watch something tonight. You turned your Xbox on and went to Netflix. You picked Sherlock. You watched 1 episode and by the time you finished it, it was already almost midnight. You decided to try to go to sleep.

BOOM

Right as you were about to fall asleep you hear a really loud sound. You didn't think much of it at first. You just thought maybe one of the boys had dropped something or whatever. And then it happened again. This time it was louder.

BOOOM

Then it hit you. It was thunder. You sighed in content. You loved thunderstorms. You thought they were pretty calming. You sat there for about 20 minutes, enjoying the sound of the rain hitting the roof of the bunker. All of a sudden, you realized something. Your boyfriend, Dean, was terrified of thunderstorms.

You quickly jumped out of bed. You grabbed your comforter and took it with you. You ran out of your room and down the hall to Deans room. You knocked on his door. No answer. You knocked again. Still, no answer. You grabbed the knob and opened the door slowly.

"Dean?" You called out softly. You walked over to his nightstand and turned on his lamp. That's when you saw him. He was sitting in the corner of his bed by the wall, hugging his knees. He had his comforter draped around his shoulders. You could see his tear-stained face and he was visibly shaking. Your heart broke at the sight.

"Oh, Dean," You said with a frown. You got on his bed and quickly crawled over to him. You grabbed the side of his comforter that was on his right shoulder and lifted it up slightly so you could sit right beside him. Now the two of you were wrapped in it. You wrapped your arms around him and he started crying again.

BOOOOM

The thunderstorm was getting worse. Dean started crying even more now. You couldn't stand to see him like this. You pulled him closer to you and he buried his face in your neck. He was still shaking.

"It's okay Dee, I'm here baby." You cooed.
"W-why didn't y-you come s-sooner?" He asked quietly. "I'm so sorry baby. I was nearly asleep when I realized what was going on." You explained.

"I-I'm s-scared (Y/n)." He whispered. You pulled him even closer to you and he was almost sitting in your lap at this point. "It's okay Dee, I'm here." You played with his hair to try and get him to calm down a little. It seemed to be working. You brought your hand up to caress his face. He leaned into your touch, tilting his head slightly, giving you the opportunity to kiss his neck. He always enjoyed it when you kissed his neck. He wasn't shaking as bad as he was anymore.

BOOM

"Ahh!" He cried, burying his face into your collarbone. "Shh, it's okay sweetheart, It's okay." You cooed. Another tear fell from his eye and you wiped it away with your thumb. You stared into his glossy green eyes, which were kind of red and puffy. You could see the fear in them. You leaned forward and gently kissed him. You looked over at the digital clock on Deans nightstand. It was 2am.

"Let's lay down Dee." You said softly. He slightly nodded and the two of you laid down. You laid on your back. You were kind of sitting up but not really. Dean was laying his head on your chest, listening to the steady beating of your heart. You wrapped your arms around him and held him close.

After a while, he seemed to calm down a bit. The thunder had stopped though it was still raining a little. "Are you okay Dean?" You asked. "Mmhm." He hummed tiredly in response. "Thank you." He whispered. "Anything for you Dee." You said, kissing the top of his head.

"I love you (Y/n)." He said quietly. You smiled.

"I love you too, Dean." You replied. But he was already asleep.

"Sweet dreams." You whispered, kissing him one more time. You fell asleep soon after.
