Epilogue

Amber's pov:

It's been two months since I've seen Luke or anyone else in 5sos. They've been finishing their tour, according to the fam. Angie and I live in a normal apartment in my normal hometown. I've ignored all of Luke's calls and texts. It hurts to know that he left, and I have to let go of him.

But here I am, walking past that same concert hall where we met and where I saw him last. I do this everyday, with the crazy hope that he'll be there.

I miss him.

Luke's pov:

Two months have passed, and all I think of is Amber. She won't answer my calls or texts. I have to see her.

I flew back to her town. She probably isn't even here anymore, but I just need to make sure.

Nothing has been the same without her. I've been forgetting lyrics to songs onstage, I haven't been caring as much for performances as I did before. Why make music if she won't listen to it?

And I end up sitting in front of the concert hall where I last saw her with my acoustic guitar. I just strum a few chords and think of the last concert she was at. I still remember the set list from that night. I begin to play through the set.

I am around halfway through English Love Affair when I see her. I recognize her as she looks around the the front of the concert hall. Her eyes catch mine, and I stop strumming. I set down my guitar and stand up. She starts to rush towards me and she wraps her arms around me.

"I've missed you." she whispers.

"Well I'm here now. And I'm never leaving you again." I respond. We stay hugging for a while more before she says something else.

"Hey Luke?" She says. I pull away just enough so I can look her in the eyes.

"Yes Amber?"

"I love you."

"I love you too."
