Recap: Tom and Zara had faked a fight in front of paparazzi as a joke, they laughed about the tabloids in Toms office. After they'd laughed zara had found herself very close to Tom leaving him completely infatuated by her and thinking she was going to do something he'd been pining for. End of recap
"This" I reached behind him grasping the pencil sitting on his desk, the gold lettering reflecting the sun that filtered the through the windows,
The sharp inhale of Tom made me content. The scowl within his eyes spoke volumes but I chose to ignore it, instead I plastered on a cheeky smile.
"Sorry I needed a pen...I have to write down your order for lunch," I got the notepad in my back pocket, and I could see the shake of toms head in my peripheral vision. I was well and truly pissing him off.
I had a plan regarding me and Tom. Since he'd had that little rendezvous with his ex Jane when he was supposedly seeing me I'm not going to open up my arms to him just yet.
I was going to tease him. Taunt him. I'm going to make myself as desirable as ever. And I'm going to tease him till he breaks.
And when he breaks. Which I know he will I. He'll understand what he'd been missing out on. And his time with Jane would become a very distant memory.
Tom gave a tight lipped smile turning his back to me, his arms outstretched on the desk gripping it so tightly his knuckles pale almost white, "right of course. You needed a pen" he whispered more so to himself than me.
I could only imagine the discontent on his face right about now, trying my hardest to bite back that lingering grin on my face.
"So what will it be sir?" The add of sir was simply to spike a reaction from the man in the all black suit. He looked painfully good today and my eyes couldn't look at anything else but him, his figure was incredibly lean.
Even under all the business man stature you could see his taught muscles through the coat and the way he stood up straight showed off his incredible physique.
It was irritating how effortlessly he'd swoon everybody he looked at, his charm was undeniable they way he'd talk and add in the flirtatious smile or laugh. Or the way he'd give you those big puppy eyes. But I kept this simply to myself.
If he heard any of this coming from my mouth it would only boost his already giant ego. It'd be a never ending story of him rambling on about all the great wonderful things about himself.
"Erm I'll just, half chicken from nandos" he avoided looking at me.
It was fun playing with him, it's only fair as he'd played me not long ago.
"Yes sir" a smile laced my lips as I saw his eyes latch onto my own, a quizzical look seemed to merge on his face.
"Zara, enough of this sir bullshit" his jaw was clenched and and he was rocking slowly back and forth on the balls of his feet now, finally taking the initiative to look at me fully.
"Sorry sir-Tom" that time it wasn't intentional, and my wide eyes and temptation to laugh showed it.
He shook his head a little smile gracing his tiny lips.
"How long are you going to keep at it with this little game?" He sighed deeply, making me feel a little bad. He truly was a little fed up with my teasing.
But the worst of it hadn't even started.
His intensity made me shudder.
"I don't know what you mean?" I furrowed my eyebrows and projecting my voice higher, looking completely oblivious.
He hummed, and I made my out of his office without another word.
The plan had commenced.
