The Fact: I Don't Love You

Chapter 6

Katherine POV

Life is always unexpected. I had never thought of meeting someone so perfect like him in my life but I did. The first kiss of mine is for him, not anyone else but him.

This might be a dream come true, but at the same time it was like a nightmare. He pushed me to the ground after he kissed me out - of - blue and gave me a slap for doing nothing.

Then i saw him smirked at me after callingme by that name again ' dirty slave' and then a hand helped me up. I can see Luke's eyes on me with that disbelieving look, I felt hurt.

Maybe Luke will think of me as some sluts like the way Aaron told Luke, but he didn't say anything he just help me up and clean the dust off my uniform and held the backpacks of Aaron and Jessica for me without saying anything.

He grabbed my hands and started walking away from the siblings. He kept holding my hands without saying anything again.

Luke is so different right now as he always talks so happily around me, but this time silence is the only thing that surrounds us. His hands are so warm that I want to hold it for a long long time without letting it go.

No one in this school cares about me except for Wendy and him. He always helps me whenever I need help and this isn't the first time Aaron tried to hurt me, but I still feel so hurt by his action right now.

Luke can shout at me or walk away, but he still helped me to get away from his bestfriend, that evil man whom i like a lot. He shouldn't do it like this, it was like he is feeling pity for me.

Then, Luke stopped at a small coffee shop and led me in. Everyone in the shop stared at me and him for some reason. He turned around and looked at me surprisingly and smiled like he always does before using his warm hand to wipe away the tear on my cheek.

Everyone started to whispered after seeing that scene. They must think of us as a couple and I was the one who cried like a baby in front of her lover.

Luke led me to a table at the corner and left the packs of us down on the other chair before going somewhere.

After awhile he came back with two cups full of ice-cream on it and a gooffy smile which i can't help but smile too.

" I was about to ask you for an ice-cream today. This is just perfect. Strawberry for Kathy and Chocolate mint for me" he happily said as he handed me the cup.

Yeah, Luke is the best when it comes to soothing people. Strawberry is definitely my favorite flavor and ice-cream for this cold day is just perfect.

We both love eating ice-cream on windy and cold days as he told me and ice-cream date between us are usual.

I hold the spoon and started to dig in the scoop and savor the flavor on my tounge. It's just so sweet, too sweet after the bitter feeling on lips earlier.

Luke held his spoon in front of face and gave me a taste of his chocolate mint flavor and laughed loudly for some reason.

Then he suddenly stood up and wiped the corner of my mouth with his thumb and licked it. It might sound weird, but he looked so handsome and somewhat sexy at that moment.

He then patted my head and urged me to eat it faster before it melted which impossibly happen for me.

We both walked out of the shop with a pack of cookies which was for Wendy. Then we walked our way home. Luke hasn't said anything about the thing earlier at the school gate earlier but it doesn't matter anymore since he keeps talking freely to me again.

The cold wind blows my hair and his together and we both laughed at the mess on our head. He then stopped me and put his wool scarf on me.

" It must be cold and hurt a little bit right?" then he touched my cheek which was slapped by Aaron earlier and caressed it slowly ang gave me peck on it. Then he held my hand and we walked again. I don't know what it is, but today Luke is so weird.
