You wake up one morning a few weeks later, wrapped up with Hero in bed. He is deep in sleep and snoring. You smile, gazing at him for a moment to appreciate what you have. You gently peel his arms off of you and roll out of the bed, fixing the blanket so it still covers Hero.

You make your way to the kitchen. Opening the fridge , you grab yourself a slice of cheesecake and make yourself a cup of coffee.

From there, you enter the library, setting your things on a side table beside a seat, warmed by the fireplace. You wander around the aisles, looking for something interesting to read. A dusty, purple book titled The End catches your eye. You pull it off the shelf and take a seat with your breakfast beside the fireplace, crackling away.

As you read, you are confused as to why Hero never told you about this place called "The End". Where the Endermen come from. A world guarded by a dragon. The portal to which is found deep underground in a Stronghold. Eyes of Ender, made from blaze powder and ender pearls, are what activate the portal. You could do all that, easy. Well, you and Hero could; knowing Hero, he would never let you go alone. Plus, it'd be good to have him there. You get excited, just thinking about it. You jump up from your seat and rush back to Hero.

You gently shake Hero awake, "What is it?" He mutters, his voice gravelly from just waking up. You show him the book, crawling into the bed.

"You ever heard of The End?" you ask, a huge smile on your face.

"Yes, I've heard of The End," he responds.

"And the dragon?" Hero leans up in bed, rubbing his eyes.

"And the dragon, yes. What about it?"

"Can we defeat it?"

"Yes, you can defeat it. It can be pretty difficult though,"

"Well, we better get started preparing, then," You say, sliding out of the bed. You begin collecting items to be ready for the journey to defeat the dragon.

"Wait, what?" Hero hops out of the bed and stops you from grabbing more items, "No, no, absolutely not. We are not defeating the dragon,"

"You just said yes,"

"No, I--" He sighs, "I meant yes, it's possible to defeat the dragon, but we are not doing that,"

"And why not?" You fold your arms.

"Because it's dangerous, babe. You could die,"

"I won't,"

"Babe," He rolls his eyes, "You can't just say you won't die,"

"Well, fine, if you won't help me, I'll just do it myself," You say, turning to leave.

"Y/N, wait," Hero tries to grab your shoulder.

"No, I'll see you after I beat the dragon," You say, slamming the door behind you.
