Le Chapter Five

You wander away from the castle, heading towards the desert/savannah biome you'd ventured into before. You pass by the desert temple you'd blown up a few weeks before. A twang in your heart at seeing it makes you consider going back to Hero. But no, you have to press on.

Into the savannah biome you go. You knock down a few trees, getting wood for a base and to make supplies. You turn the logs into planks and start placing them in a small 5 x 5 square. You build up the walls, leaving a space for a door and some windows. You place down a bed, chest, furnace, and a crafting table. It's not much, but it's yours and it'll get the job done.

By the time you are done, it's nighttime and the monsters are out, growling and hissing at you. You place some torches outside to keep your base relatively safe, then put some meat in the furnace to cook. Looking out the window, you see an enderman teleporting by. You decided to go get its pearl.

Stepping out your front door, you are immediately met with a zombie. You take out your sword and take care of the zombie pretty easily. You gain some confidence from this and head straight to the enderman. You stare at him until you make eye contact and he gets angry. You get a hit in and he teleports away before rushing at you from behind. It knocks down nearly half your health.

"Ah, shit," You mutter, realizing your hunger is low and you can't heal. You go to grab your meat, but then you remember you left it in the furnace. Just then, the enderman hits you again, knocking you to one heart. "Oh no, oh no, oh no," You repeat, running straight back to your house and slamming the door behind you. You grab the meat out of the furnace and eat it, gaining some health back. You decide to just get some sleep, so you crawl in bed and fall asleep.

You are in The End, fighting the dragon. You're struggling to reach a crystal. The dragon zooms by, knocking you off your tower and over the edge. You scream out as you fall and cover your eyes, but... you don't die. You open your eyes to see you are in Steve's old lair.

"Oh, what the fuck..." You mutter, looking around you. It's exactly as you remember.

"Hello, darling," Steve says, appearing behind you. You spin around to face him. Just seeing this guy's face makes you sick.

"What do you want?"

"I just wanted to check in on you," Steve responds, smiling innocently.

"Sure..." You say sarcastically, "Why are you here? Aren't you supposed to be in the Nether?"

"Well, yeah, but..." He approaches you slowly. Your body freezes up in fear as his hands glide around your stomach. "Something else has caught my attention." He pauses for a moment to meet your eyes, "Be careful out there, can't have you getting hurt,"

"Huh?" Steve just smiles.

You jolt awake in your bed, your sheets wet with a cold sweat. You wipe your brow and look out your window to see the sun rising over the horizon. You leave the bed and grab some more food, leaving the house to find a lava pool for your Nether portal.
