Chapter 24

Rishi pov :

I came out from my room saw suji was coming out from Pooja room she was holding food plate. When she saw me she came near to me.

"She is not eating anything" she said and give plate to me "go and make her eat" she said I saw suji was looking so dull her eyes was full of red.

"Suji" I called her when she was turn to walk away she stopped "we need to talk" I said slowly.

"We can talk later but now Pooja is important make her eat and sleep" she said smiling lightly and left.

I sighed and went to Pooja room saw her sitting in bed she was now looking fresh in her night wear.

Sri was trying to make her say anything but Pooja is not saying anything just staring at floor.

"Pooja" I called her she immediately raised her long eyelashes and saw me sri got up and came towards me.

"She only responded to you" she said i looked at her "make her eat something" sri said and kissed Pooja forehead and left.

I sat on bed front of Pooja she was keep staring at me I mixed rice with curry and make her eat she watched my every move but didn't open her mouth.

"Eat" i said softly she opened her mouth and eaten. I feed her all the rice and make her drink water. I washed my hands and give her medicines.

"Pooja" I called her held her hand she looked at me "cry" I said she looked at me confusingly.

"Cry as much as you want no one is stopping you, let it out your anger, your fear, your pain" I said cupping her cheeks.

She start crying hardly screaming Darsh and raj came listening her screams "what happen" raj asked me "Rishi stop her" darsh said "no let it her out! She will be feel better" I said.

I hugged her tightly she start sobbing in my chest "let it out killer" I said she start whipping.

"She was went into a temporary shock, if she doesn't let it out her emotions she will be in shock all the time" I said and put my chin on her head.

"Rishi—-he hurted me" she said raising her head from me "he touched me" she said looking at her skin angrily. She got up from bed and about to fall i held her shoulder.

She pushed me and start walking while groaning in pain her way I followed her she went inside of bathroom and turn on the shower and scratching her skin.

I went to her to stopping "Pooja stop" I said but she didn't listen to me and start rubbing her hands, face and neck.

"I never allowed anyone to touch me even my little finger except you" she mumbled and start applying soap.

Raj and darsh came "please call sri and suji" i said to them and hugged Pooja shower was on so we both are drenched.

"Shhhhh.......calm down" I said to her rubbing her back "how dare he to touch me" she screamed. I hugged her tightly.

"I was so scared Rishi" she said sobbing on my chest "I even call your name so many times" she said "I heard you" I said "I thought I would never see you" she cried cupping my cheeks.

"Nothing will happen to you" I said soon sri and suji rushed inside "what happen" suji asked me sri try to pull Pooja back but she tighten her grip around me.

"Pooja see they are our friends" i said she peeked from my chest "see she is sri, she is suji" I said Pooja got relaxed after she saw them both.

Suji holds Pooja and make her back away lightly "Pooja, should we change your cloths see it was fully wetted" suji said softly.

Pooja nodded her head "wait outside" suji said I nodded and about to left but pooja held my hand.

"I will be outside" I said she left my hand I went outside with raj and Darsh.

After sometime sri opened door we went inside saw Pooja was laid on bed suji was changing her wet bandage.

When Pooja saw me her eyes filled with fresh tears I didn't understand why. She immediately turn her head aside hiding her emotions from me.

"Rishi I changed bandage but be with her" suji said "she needs you" she said and left I saw Pooja was hiding her face away.

Everyone left I sat front of Pooja who is still not looking at me I try to touch her hand but she pulled away. I felt hurt when she moves away from me.

"Pooja" I called her she nodded her head but didn't said or see me. "Why are you hiding your pain" I asked her she shook her head negatively "I am not" she said her voice was broken.

"Tell me" I asked her "don't show pity on me" she said angrily "why would I show pity Pooja" I asked her she didn't said anything.

I cupped her cheeks and made her see me forcefully "you know how I felt the second I hear your crying voice" I asked her she stared at me.

"I felt my heart just stopped when I saw you in that state" I said "do you thinking I am showing pity" I asked her.

"I am not, because I am also suffering with this same pain as you felt now" I said.

"I am sorry for leaving you" I said and held her hands in mine with her protest.

She suddenly start crying I embrace her in my arms and she snuggled crying.

"How can he Rishi" she asked me "he knows I am broken and crying still he didn't show mercy on a girl who is pain" she cried.

She cried because of me!

She was broken because of me!!

I want to ask her about all the things in my heart and mind but this is not the situation.

She was in pain she needs to get out from this horrible night.

"Don't tell mom and dad about this" she said pulling back I nodded and wiped her tears. "I won't" i said she looked at me with her teary eyes.

"No more crying" I said and wiped the fresh tears "I can't see you in tears" I said she didn't said anything just staring at me.

"Won't you have any angry on me" she asked me i frowned "why would I?" I asked her "about what raj and sri told" she asked me.

I shook my head "we will talk later" I said "now sleep" I said she didn't said anything. I made her laid on bed cover her with duvet.

"If you need anything just call me I will be next to your room" I said she nodded I kissed her forehead and stayed there for a minute.

"Sleep" i said softly she closed her eyes after make sure she was sleep I left to my room and laid on bed sleep was far away from me.

It's been two hours since I try to sleep but couldn't because of the evening events and that horrible hour. I hear some screams I got up from bed and ran to Pooja room.

I saw her crying on her sleep "please leave me" she was saying struggling "Rishi help me" she called me I rushed towards her "shhhh...I am here" I said and hugged her she hugged me tightly.

"I am here, I am here" i smoothed her with my words after sometime her cries are stopped and breathing was stabled.

I was about to pulled back but she held my t-shirt tightly in her hands.

"Don't leave me Rishi" she mumbled I kissed her forehead and laid beside her pulling her to me she snuggled into me. I wiped remaining tears and kissed her forehead and closed my eyes.
