I wake up to my mother rushing around the house. She's late again, as always.

"Bye Shawni! Have a great day! Don't forget to do your chores!" my mom yells from down stairs before I hear the front door slam shut.

I lay there staring up at my light grey ceiling thinking of what happened yesterday.

"That was fucking crazy," I murmur to myself.

I turn over on my side 5:30 shows on my clock. Just two hours until school starts.

Using all my effort, I try to grab my phone from the iHome, but my arm was too short.

I slide out of my bed and sit on the floor, still too lazy to get up. Crawling on my hands and knees, I go over to my closet looking up at my clothes. I grab my low cut light pink frilly tank top shirt breaking the hanger.

Another one gone. Great.

Another one gone.

Another one bites the dust.

I start singing Another One Bites the Dust by Queen. I stand up abandoning my outfit just to get my phone to play the song.

I return back to my closet to grab my grey skinny jeans, and my Vans that match my shirt, finishing the outfit. I throw my hair up into a messy bun and have my bangs out, put on the usual lighter amount of make up, and grab my phone wristlet and keys heading for the door. I pull out my phone starting to send a text to Rebekkah.

*HONK HONK*

I look up nearly dropping my phone. I scramble trying to catch it in my hands.

Securely grasping my phone in my hand, I walk over to my window. This can't be my mom needing me to throw something out the window. Please don't be. I move my curtains to reveal the car that honked. There was a black 2012 Dodge Challenger in my drive way. Who the fuck is that?

I slide my shoes on and grab a light jacket before I make my way down stairs. I walk down the steps and towards the mysterious vehicle. Walking over to the driver's side, the driver rolls down the window. Daniel Willcox. How the fuck does he know where I live?

I roll my eyes and try to make myself seem more cheerful.

"Hey Danny!" I say with a smirk, he hates being called that, "How the fuck do you know where I live?"

"I just followed the yellow brick road," he says with a wink.

"Very funny. I'm guessing Dylan told you?" I cross my arms.

"Yeah. Anyway, need a ride?" Daniel tries his best to change the subject.

"No. I have my own ride," I motion behind me with my thumb and turn around and make my way to my car.

Should I go with Daniel? How will I get home? I ponder to myself.

Then I remember Rebekkah can take me home. I turn back around and walk to Daniel's car. I open the door and hop in.

"I knew you'd come sooner or later, baby," he says with another smirk.

His smirks and smiles are gorgeous.

"Don't call me that ever again if you still want to keep your car the way it's looking right as we speak," I threaten.

"Well, we can smash inside of here if you want? I don't mind," he chuckles. I cross my arms under my chest and face passenger window.

He pulls out of my drive way and heads to school.

Parking in the school parking lot, I realize his spot is right in front of mine.
