The summary.

My name is Rosalie Lillian Marie Lupin. Remus Lupin is my adoptive dad. My parents died when I was a baby. He's the only family I have left. Well I also have a older brother in the world, I've never met him. We're 1 year and 6 days apart. To answer a few of your questions. I don't call Remus dad, although he's raised me, he's my uncle technically speaking, it's the way my parents would've wanted it. I call him Uncle Moony. My parents were murdered, Remus won't tell me the whole truth until I'm old enough. Same goes for who my brother is. The only thing he has told me is that my brother was there the night our parents were murdered, I wasn't, I was with our Godfather. Also that my brother lives with our mum side's of the family, who are muggles. As for my Godfather? Who knows, Remus said he'll tell me when I'm 16, because apparently I'll be ready then. Uncle Moony is also gaurdian to the Black twins, my closest friends practically siblings, Elio and Cordelia. They're mum was killed along with her family by You Know Who, when they were only a year old. Their dad is well, arrested, he's the infamous Sirius Black. Remus is their Godfather and Guardian, when they're mum passed him and Sirius were rasing them together, before Sirius was arrested.

Since entering my first year at hogwarts things have changed drastically. Ever since 1st year at Hogwarts, I've been in his shadow. Who's shadow? My brothers. The missing piece I felt for the 11 years of my life. I never knew he was my brother, never knew that was my last name. Yes, I was there with the Golden Trio when we all kept Voldemort from taking the Sorcerer's Stone when the Chamber of Secrets reopened and students were being petrified and when we battled basilisk, he got all the glory. Not that I want any, I just want some recognition as well, since I helped. Now it's my and Harry's third year at Hogwarts. And it so happens Sirius Black has escaped and is after Harry. It doesn't add up. Just before my birthday, the school year, and the craziness that intells for the following year Remus decides to finally trust me and tell me who my Godfather is. But is he really my Godfather? Am I going to spend another year in Harry's shadow? Or is it finally my time to live and shine?

Then again I've always been in his shadow. Now I must do everything in my power to keep my older brother safe as he's always done for me. And on top of that, I must battle my studies and a certain blonde-headed boy who I'm slowly falling in love with. Not to mention a tall ginger who loves to throw me winks, and rope me into pranks with him and his twin, who has his sights set on me as well. While my brother must battle with being The Boy Who Lived, I battle with being The Girl in His Shadow. And this is my story.

A/N hello anyone who's reading this. welcome to my first Harry Potter fanfiction. I'm hoping to make this into a series. The idea of this story came through one of my best friend's ideas of her creating an hp fanfic as well. shoutout to VelezVibes for being an inspiration as always ❤️
