The Letter

August 6, 1991.

Rosalie's 10th birthday.

It was also a big deal, for her and her family.

This is how it went.

"Shushhhh Eli, your gonna wake her!"  Cordelia whispered and shouted to her twin, "Me? You're the one making noises" classic twin bickering between these 2 "Come on we have to set up the surprise!" whispered shouted Cordelia, if they were trying to be discrete, it isn't working. Rosalie is actually a heavy sleeper but was up early due to a dream she had.

She kept hearing stuff being set up, and she heard new set of feet in the room, must be her Uncle Lupin."Guys her letter is here, I shall put it with her breakfast, are you 2 just about done?" she heard him chuckle at the end.

"Yes Pops," Elio said, "We're just about done." Cordelia finished, oi twins. Rosalie did a silent prayer that she and her brother, whoever he maybe, aren't twins.

It was quiet for a good moment, and Rosalie was in peace, she had just started to fall asleep. That didn't last for long...

POP!

Confetti was popped to wake her up, "Happy Birthday Rosa!" Using her nickname, the family shouts, Rosalie opened her eyes and slowly rises out of bed to see her Uncle Lupin with his wand raised which indicates he was the one who set the confetti off and see Elio and Cordelia with birthday hats on and a hat in Cordelia's hand.

Rosalie had a huge smile on her face. Sometimes she feels as if they'll forget about her birthday or her in general, that they'll abandon her together. She'll admit to herself and no one else, one thing that no one may ever know about her, she has abandonment issues. And so she always fears the worse when it comes to her family. To these 3 people in front of her with such happy looks on their faces.

She's just missing 4 more people. 4 key people in her life. Other than the 4 right in front of her.

Her parents, older brother, and godfather.

She wished she knew who her brother was. She's always wondered if he knew who she was, if he knew where she was and just didn't bother to go looking. But according to Uncle Moony he doesn't. She's glad to have Elio and Cordelia, they're like the sister and brother she never had but, she wished she grew up with her actual brother. Not to mention her parents...

She got up and hugged each and every one of her family members. When she got to Cordelia she placed the birthday hat on her head with a laugh, "Happy birthday babes" using her nickname for the girl.

"Come, my love, we have your favorite breakfast ready," Remus said to the girl as he wrapped his arm around her shoulder and led her out of the room down the stairs into the kitchen where they had a breakfast feast and a box for Rosalie. The birthday girl gasped at the sight.

"Is that chocolate chip pancakes and bacon?" The girl asked with excitement in her voice "Cordi and I helped make it for you fleur" (A/N we all know the Black brothers know French so i decided to pass the trait to the twins as well, fleur means flower) Elio spoke to the younger girl "Yes my dear we all made this for you, but open the box first, it's one of your gifts" Lupin spoke to the girl, she nodded her head excitedly and walked up to the box and went to lift it.
