We'll Find a Way

* Ashley's pov*
a couple of minutes later someone came and took me and Emma

" hey let go! I'm perfectly capable of using my own legs!" i yelled

he took us outside and threw us in the back of a van and closed the doors.

i had landed on my side and hit my head

" what with them and throwing people" i groan

i look up and see not only Emma, but tuck, Alex and

" Munch!"

I 'ran' over to him or at least as much as you could move in this van and gave him probably the biggest hug I have ever given him, and I happy I was able to do so

" Okay loving this brother/sister reunited hug little thing going on, but we got bigger problems." Tuck says

"Right yea okay , time to panic." I say

" You guys weren't panicking before?!" Emma says obviously panicking

" Here check the doors" tuck says

" Their locked" I said pushing on them

" It's locked? It doesn't even have handles on it!" Munch says

" Someone help" I say banging on the windows. I look back at Alex and he's pacing the van

" Where are they taking us?" Emma asked

" How are we supposed to know!" I say to her

I hear the driver door open and a man comes in

" hey! Yo let us out, man!" Tuck yells

But they just kept driving

I sighed and felt a hand touch mine, I look up and see Alex looking down out me. He had dragged me over to the corner of the van and sat down with me right next to him

I laid my head on his shoulder and closed my eyes. I mean you can't blame me for being tired right?

I had woken up when the van hit a bump in the road. My head shot up and I'm not gonna hide that I kinda freaked out.

"Sssh, your fine." Alex soothed noticing my freak out.

I look out the window and notice the sun barely Peeking out. Great now we have less time to save echo, and more importantly Get Home!

" Well, the Suns up" tuck says speaking my mind

" And our parents are gonna find out" munch
" I think we got bigger problems then our parents." I say adjusting myself to sit up rather then leaning on Alex, not that I didn't enjoy that at all.

I looked at Alex and we have each other a reassuring smiles. Not only did the sun mean less time to get Echo and go home, but it means less time with Alex and saying our last goodbyes.

We had been driving around for a bit longer and the sun was fully up and the clock was ticking, we have to go home.

The vans in front of us pulled into a junk yard looking place and soon we pulled up also.

" Where are we?" Emma asked

The guys in the passenger and driver seats opened the door and got out leaving us inside.
Soon, all these guys were setting up stuff and I saw echo, I watched him but noticed... He wasn't moving

" He isn't moving" I said

Alex looked where I was and starting banging on the doors yelling "stop!"

The men finally noticed us and walked over and open the doors, right when they did Alex jumped out and started running towards echo

" Wait, Alex!" I called and ran after him.

I caught up to him and saw him kneeling next to echo. I slowly kneeled with him right by his side.

" Can you see me?" He asked

Echo responded with a weak little noise.

" Beep?" I said hopeful that he would respond

But sadly, he didn't

Alex gently picked him up and placed him in the 'key' according to everyone

"We're all here, we're gonna get you home, alright?" Alex told him " we'll find a way"

"Nichols, man. It's not there." Tuck said

"No" i said crying, he didn't deserve this! Any of it!

Alex picked the key up with echo inside and looked at me.

" Please, you have to work" I say with tears still streaming down my face.

" Just try" Alex whispers

Echos little noise that makes to let you know he's awake was slowly slowing down and his lights started to burn out. I couldn't keep in my cries anymore and started sobbing

And he finally shutdown.

|| I'm so sorry I haven't updated in a really really long time, but I have been trying to make my 2nd semester way better then the 1st and so far so good so I had time to update! Hope you liked it!
