I opened my eyes slowley as I felt someone watching me in my sleep. As I regained full vision and my eyes weren't blurry anymore, I noticed Malfoy sitting on an armchair starring at me. I shreiked, "What the hell are you siitting there for starring at me." Draco averted his gaze from the fireplace to me, "I saw you sleeping on the couch and wondered why the hell you thought it was okay to use the common room as a bedroom." I opened my mouth then closed it trying to think of what I was supposed to say, "umm- I wa- I was doing my work and must've fell aslpeep. Sorry." Draco let out a small chuckle and put a smirk on his face, "looks like you're not so tough anymore now that no ones around." I gasped at his reply, I could feel the anger in my stomach rising up as if forcing me to bite back at him. "Sorry I didn't have a proper response to what you said because you woke me up out of a dead sleep." Aggrevated and annoyed I hopped of the couch, grabbed my things and went up to my dormitory.

The next day I told Ginny and Hermoine all about what happened while we did homewrok. "I can't beleive he said that to you. He's such a prick," explained Ginny after using a select choice of words. "I know, I hate him with every ounce of my body, UGHHHHH" Ginny and Hermoine laughed at the disguted noice I had made and I joined in. As we calmed down Hermoine looked at me and Ginny in a funny way. "what?" I asked her, "ohh it's not a big deal but why do you let him affect you so much?" she asked. "I dunno" I sighed, "he just makes my blood boil," "I understand" Hermoine responded.

For the rest of the night and the rest of the week not much had gone down except for the constant nagging and whining Draco had done to me. Atleast by the end of the week I had Quittedge tryouts to look forward to and Bella and I were getting closer and could finally call each other friends.

Early monday morning I woke up extremely excited for the day. "whats with you Katie?" Bella laughed as she asked me. "I have Quittedge tryouts afer class today and I can't control myself. I haven't played in so long," I replied with a huge smile on my face. Bella looked confused and shocked as she raised her eyebrows at me and smirked. "I didn't know you played Quittedge," "neither did I," Pansy said as she joined our conversation. "yeah" grinning wide I explained," I used to play at Beaubaxtons. I was even captain of the team." the girls gasped and giggled as they processed what I had just said. "well anyways I have to go. Byee."

I walked away from the girls and walked to transfiguartion. My day went by normal as usual as I went to all my other classes, until I had to go to potions. I walked in and sat at my normal spot beside Bella. She gave me a friendly smile as I put my books down and I returned it. We had just started our lesson when I had overhead Malfoy and Zabini talking about Quittedge tryouts. Bella quickly chimed in and I rolled my eyes knowing exactly what she was going to say.

"you know Katie's trying out today aswell," she exclaimed. "No, No, No, No, there is no way she can play quittedge," Draco smirked at Blaise's response. "Actually I can, I played at my old school-" I was about to finish what I was saying when Draco cut me off, "listen Young I don't want to hear your back story on this. We will see how you do at tryouts," Malfoy and Zabini cackled. The rest of the class I found it completey hard to keep my cool and to not jump up and attack Malfoy for the nastly things he was saying. He made my blood boil and he made me angrier than I had ever been and I didn't understand why.

Later that day I headed down to the girls locker room only thinking about the tension between me and Malfoy in potions and care of magical creations. As I got changed and grabbed my broom, I headed down to the staduim to show everyone up. Suprisingly I was the only girl at tryouts and it made me feel a litte awkward. Flint the captain of the team began talking but stopped when he noticed me in the back. Everyone turned towards me and starting laughing as if I wasn't even there. I was becoming so angry that I told myself I would just use my anger to make me more driven during tryouts.

Everyone had stopped laughing, and Draco softly whispered "she doesn't really think she'll make the team right," quietly thinking I wouldnt hear but I did. "Get your head out of your ass Malfoy," I barked back. It was weird, before coming to Hogwarts I never knew how to stick up for myself and I always would keep quiet, but ever since I met Draco I couldn't keep my mouth shut. Just then the tryouts started and I got on my broom, flying up about 15 feet in the air. Flint had instructed us that we would be on teams and that we were going to play a game. Of course I was the last person to be chosen and I was placed on the team Malfoy was in.

"Don't get in my way young," Draco whispered before Flint blew the whistle to start the game. The quaffle was thrown in the air and I immediatly sprang for it almost falling off my broom. I caught it and placed it under my left arm, as I used my right to weive my broom past any players. I finally got to the goal posts and shot for the middle one. I scored and everyone around sighed as in disbelief. More like that continued on until Draco finally caught the snitch. At the end of tryouts I scored 3 times, which was more than anyone on my team.

As we all landed on the ground my team screamed and yelled over and over exicetdly while I stood in the back uncomfortable. Finally all the boys calmed down and Flint went around cogratualating everyone. "Good job Young, I think you blew all of us away seeing as you did better than any else on your team." I smiled at him but Draco overheard, "What do you mean she played better than everyone else, I won us the game." Draco snapped, "sorry mate, but believe what you want to," explained Flint and all I could do was laugh out loud uncontrollably.
