MJ's POV

I had been planning for over a month now. Today was the day I was going to confront Peter about being Spider-man. Everything added up. Every time Spider-man shows up, Peter's no where to be seen. Every time we talk about Spider-man, he gets nervous. He seems to know very specific details about certain events in which I never saw him near and Spider-man was always at these events. If anyone took a second glance at the situation, they would know. But no one ever does. Except me. I wouldn't say I have a crush on him even though I get certain... feeling around him. But it's normal. I think. Anyway, I was going to talk to him about it.

Friday I asked him if he wanted to hang out on Saturday and he said sure. Our plan was to meet up at The sandwich restaurant down town. I was already there waiting for him to arrive. Soon enough, he walked in and quickly spotted me at a table. He awkwardly shuffled to the table and sat down.

"So, what did you want me to come here for?" he asked.

"Well, I wanted to ask you something... important," I answered.

"Ask away,"

"Um, well. Are you Spiderman?"

The look of shock on his face was indescribable. His face went pale and his jaw hung down.

"How... how did you," he started.

"I'm smart," I said, cutting him off.

"Let's go somewhere else," I suggested.

We got up and started to take a walk down the streets of New York. It was very quiet for some odd reason. It felt as if the world just stopped int his moment.

"Peter, are you sure you're spiderman? Or are you just playing some kind of joke on me to make me feel like I'm right," I asked.

"M.J. I would never lie to you. And yes, I am spiderman."

He paused for a moment, as if he was collecting his thoughts.

"There's something else I want to tell you," he said quietly.

He stopped walking and turned to me. I stared into his deep brown eyes.

"M.J. I... I like you. A lot. All I'm asking is for you not to hate me now," he somehow managed to say.

"Don't worry dork, I like you too."

Ok, ok, ok. I know it took me f o r e v e r to get this done and it's not even that long, but with school, and friends, and the election and just my general nature of procrastination, i haven't had the time for writing this. You have my eternal gratitude for waiting for my slow butt to get this out. I'm also running low on ideas so the next one might take a little longer. Well, that's all I have to say. Thanks for reading!
