Omo! Thank you so much for the 4k+ reads! Thank you so much for reading my story and vote! I couldn't thank you all enough!

Anyway... I'll be setting a small sched for my update. I have to achieve an update during Tuesdays and Thursdays and hopefully, on the weekend, if I'm not too busy. And if I won't be able to update, then I'm really damn busy. Trying to overcome my pocrastination😅

I'm still editing The Guilty Secret and I really would love to hope that I will publish only one book, that contains both seasons. I think I'll have to finish season 2 for the whole book to be published. Hope you understand.

Thank you for your continuing support! Happy Reading😘

JUNGKOOK was with his brother, Jun, in his precint. Jun was a captain. Although they have different mothers, he still accepted him.

When he heard that a well-known man asked for their help because he was tracked down, his blood went cold. He heard that one agent and boss is gonna kill him. That he's been receiving threats and all.

He doesn't exactly know why he felt uneasy about this but he knows... it's really not good.

He was on surveillance since his brother was doing something else with another case. When he saw how the camera has blacked out. Like it was hacked or something, he immediately went out and sneaked inside the room.

Good thing that he learned how to steathily go inside a room. But when he saw the familiar figure of a woman after the man was killed, he felt his blood went cold and he paled.

Jungkook didn't know that he already dropped his gun and he felt his knees weaken when he saw the face of the woman.

Eunha.

Jungkook: Eu-Eunh-h-ha?

Eunha didn't answer. She just stared at him. When his black orbs bored into hers, he never saw something so dark in his whole life. This was not the Eunha he knew.

Eunha was cute. She is vulnerable, soft, kind but savage yet nonetheless... she was harmless. She was like an angel. But when he witnessed her kill a man, an innocent man, he felt his heart aching and he didn't know why.

Yes, he admits, he wanted to play with her at first. But after all, they weren't even official. He was just starting to court her, that's all. He was just someone who pursued her.

Eunha didn't even blink when she killed the man. The woman right in front of him... she's a devil. She's sometimes called a monster, an angel with horns, or even just a soulless woman.

When he saw a bunch of emotions back in her eyes again, he couldn't help but blink in disbelief. He saw surprise, confusion and curiousness. But he never saw guilt, remorse or even sympathy.

She was a real devil in an angel's shell.

With a few minutes of staring, he put up the courage to talk. Despite a bunch of emotions rippling through him like wildfire. He felt all kinds of emotions. He felt sad, guilty, confused, surprised.

And he felt betrayed.

Betrayed by the bloody lifeless and emotionless devil inside an angel's shell from heaven to hell.

Jungkook: H-How... could you?

His voice was so low that someone could mistaken it as a whisper. He felt his heart crumble even more when she chuckled humorlessly.
