SOWON: Okay... Let's talk about it.
Jin sighed in relief. Thank God.
Jin: Arasseo... You first.
Sowon: What do you want to do about us...?
Jin: You were the one who wanted to meet up.
Sowon took a deep breathe and nodded. Jin was a little hopeful when she looked at him straight in the eye. Sowon raised her hand up. But the next second, his jaw almost dropped and his eyes widened.
Sowon: Uhm... Waiter, yeogi!
Jin sighed and stopped himself from screaming. She was making him wait, he knew that, and that he also knows that she's kinda nervous. But he's nervous too!
Sowon looked at him incredulously.
Sowon: I'm done with my order, what about yours?
Jin cleared his throat and proceeded to look at the menu. One look was all it takes before he just didn't want to eat anything.
Jin: I'd like one of your finest steak please.
Waiter: What kind of steak, sir?
Jin wanted to glare at the man. He was the one ordering yet he had his eyes glued to his date! He froze. Oh, yeah... It was my date! Seriously!
Jin: Your finest steak.
Waiter: Uhm... Sir, what kind of steak?
Jin: The finest.
Waiter: I'm sorry sir, please do specify. We do not have 'the finest' on the menu.
Jin: You know, in this language, English, sometimes we used to say your finest for your best selling food or your recommendation.
Waiter: Uhm... sir---
He glared at the waiter.
Jin: Just get me a regular steak with a side of shut the fuck up and stop looking at my wife or I'll kill you!
Both the waiter and Sowon looked at him with wide eyes. The waiter gulped as Jin's expression changed and he smiled innocently as he handed the menu back.
Waiter: Oh, I'm sorry, sir, I didn't know she was your wife. There was no ring and I just---
Jin: That'll be all, kansahamnida.
Waiter: Sir---
Jin: You did get my order correctly, right?
Waiter: Y-Yes, sir---
Jin: Good. Then, you may leave.
The waiter almost stumbled out of their sight and as Jin looked at her direction, she was glaring at him in warning.
Sowon: That was not nice.
Jin: He was shamelessly staring at you!
Sowon: But still! You could've said it in a nicer way!
Jin sighed. He had to control his urge to defeat Sowon in an arguement or it'll be the end to their already hopeless relationship.
Jin: You wanted us to meet 'cuz you wanted to talk. You want to talk? Let's talk.
Sowon: Yes.
Jin: What do you mean by 'yes'?
Sowon: That's my answer.
