How To Kiss

You both hold hands tightly as ever, smiling giddily you look at the door before you. You were going to enter your dorm together tonight but as a couple. You didn't know what Taehyung was thinking at this point but you, on the other hand, couldn't stop blushing. Would you guys will sleep together? No! Not like physically, just for cuddles and stuff. Usual PG stuff. You gulp at the thoughts, brushing off any inappropriate thoughts. Y/n, it's too fast for these kinds of thoughts.

You both enter the room. Although Taehyung had only a small smile on his face, you knew he was feeling just as happy as you were feeling.

Your selfish heart expected a little to see his excitement as well as yours. You wanted him to make the first move while you do the job of feeling flustered. As old fashioned as you sounded, contrasting that you also desired as much skin-ship with him as possible.

"Y/n, I will go use the bathroom first and finish my night routine." He says. "I have classes in the morning tomorrow."

Your big smile slowly tames down. Was he going to sleep? "Are you going to bed afterwards?"

"Yes. It's past 10 pm. I'm ten minutes late from my usual routine." He states, grabbing the towel and walking inside the bathroom.

You sit there silently, feeling saddened by the unintentional rejection. You got too caught up with your own giddiness that you forgot about Taehyung. He isn't the same as others. V's warning and words suddenly began to ring in your ears.

He already told you that you would expect him a lot from this relationship and demand it to be smooth. Even though you challenged him that you won't do that, yet here you were doing exactly that.

Breathing out and closing your own eyes, you calm yourself down. You can't just demand him to act a certain way to please your needs. He needs time to develop both romantically and personally. You want to help him, not be disappointed just because he isn't acting a certain way.

Skinship will have to wait now. Ugh, but what about cuddles? You pout at that.

As soon as your thoughts finished, Taehyung came back from the bathroom. "Y/n, you can go ahead and use the bathroom."

You smile, "Okay. Goodnight!" You say.

You close the bathroom door behind you to mentally prepare yourself. You didn't know how your relationship would play out but you're willing to be patient. Because Taehyung deserved every single ounce of love that you were about to offer.

After washing up and changing to your nightclothes, you enter the room.  You see the lights were dimmed and Taehyung's side of the room was quiet indicating he was in his sleeping position. You can't help but pout. Should you offer him to not spend the first night as a couple like this?

It's okay! He's tired, besides he has lectures tomorrow. You knew well to respect how much Taehyung values his schedule.

You take your position under the blanket and stare at the ceiling. Thinking about Taehyung made you smile automatically.

"Y/n..."

You thought you were hearing things but two more times of calling, you snap your neck to look at Taehyung. You gulp when you capture the intense stare that was coming to your way, under the dimmed light.

"Yes?" You reply.

"I do not know how a romantic relationship works. I did not grow up seeing my parents being in love nor I have any experience with it. People usually outcast me from all of this."
