He was standing with one of his hands behind his back. He looked a bit nervous, his left hand on his hair and looking in every direction but my eyes.
-Came to finish the job you did on my face?- he gave me a strange look, probably trying to figure whether I was joking.
-I just want to apologize for this afternoon.
-Not interested.- I focused my attention back on the sky, taking a long drag from the marijuana cigarette.
-I didn't know you smoke cigarettes.
-This isn't a cigarette. It's pot.
-Pot?
-A muggle thing. Feels great. Now if you excuse me, I was having more fun before you arrived.
-I brought you this.- I looked at his right hand, holding a bottle of firewhisky, as much as I wanted it, I decided that a gift from him could never be a good thing. I would probably just get poisoned when I least expected it.
-You really think giving a fourteen year old girl a bottle of alcohol is your best idea of an apology, daddy's boy?- he gave me a little laugh in return.
-I know it's your favorite.
-How do you...- my face was in complete shock.
-You always drink it with Charles and Meg in the common room. But if you don't want it I'll just...
-Oh just give me it.- I got up and took it from his hand, opening the bottle and taking a big sip. I felt the burn going down my throat, God, I missed this. I sat back down, drinking from the bottle and waiting for him to walk away. But he didn't.- What? Do you want some?
-No thank you. I don't drink.
-Oh yes. I forgot. You're baby.- I smiled at him taking another sip.
-I'm not a baby. I just don't drink.
-Ok, you can go back to the house then.- he considered it for a moment, looked to the front door, then back at me. He sighted and got the bottle from my hand, taking it to his mouth and coughing a little.
-Can we talk now?
-Not yet. I'm not drunk enough for it.
We just sat there in silence for a couple minutes, drinking and watching the sky.
-I'm ready.- I said after the drink started making an effect on me.
-Ready for what?- it must have started to have an effect on him as well, because he was even stupider than before.
-Talking. We can each make a question, and the other has to answer it. How about that?
-Ok. What's your favorite color?- he gave me a little smile.
-Easy, green. Same question.- he looked away and thought for a second.
-Black.
-Lie.
-What?
-That's a lie. I know it is.
He looked surprised and smiled.
-Red. My favorite color is red.- that was surprising, maybe he had more than what it was visible on the outside- What's your biggest fear?
-Ending like my mother.- I sighted and my eyes moved from his, back to the sky. I didn't mean to answer that, it just came out. I took another sip from the Firewhisky, trying to calm my nerves.- What's your favorite food?
-Roast duck.- I gave him a sarcastic laugh.
-Of course it would be something fancy and...
-Tomato soup.
