Today we're going to Hogsmeade, which I've been longing for a time. I woke up especially early, the other girls were still asleep, so I snuck out of the bed and went to the common room. I loved just sitting on the floor watching the fish swimming in the lake.
I have no idea how much time had passed by when I heard the steps behind me.
-Enjoying the view?- Miles Bletchley, the slytherin's keeper, said in a low voice. He was a year older than me, but it seemed more, with his big height and muscular body.
-A lot more when you weren't here, actually.
-Oh come on! It's just the two of us, you don't have to pretend.- I heard him getting closer and I stood up to face him.- I know you like me.
-And why exactly is that?- his smile started freaking me out, he was close. Too close.
-Our little thing last year? I know you didn't forget that.- I reached out for my wand only to realize I left it upstairs.
-Of course not. How could I forget the worst kiss I've ever had. You should really work on that, you know.
-I know you don't mean it, you even kept my tie after that.- his hand was climbing up my arm and got to my neck, I pushed it away and laughed.
-It was a bet, Miles. Get over it.- he seemed very confused, and I could see the little gears at work on his head.
-What do you mean?
-Meg and I had a bet to see who could hook up with you, because we thought you might be a good kisser. Never thought I would regret winning something tho.
He grabbed my arm and pulled me. I have never felt so scared my entire life, but there was no way I would let him know that. I kept a straight face, which ended up getting even angrier.
-You should really be more careful with what you say.- his expression was pure rage, and then he kissed me, I tried pushing him but he was much stronger. I stepped on his foot and managed to get away.- You little...
-What is going on here?- great, Malfoy came in, of all the people who could walk in, he did.
-We are just talking. It's none of your business.- his look was scaring me more every second, and for a moment I didn't care that I had to ask Draco for help.
-I wasn't talking to you. Bella, are you ok?
-No. I would love it if you could get this creep out of here.- he walked in the direction of the boys room, but not before giving me one last death look.- Thank you.
-Are you alright? Did he hurt you?
-He was grabbing my arm with too much strength but I don't need any help. It's ok.- I gave him a little smile and started walking to my room.
-Bella. We have grown enough, let me help you.- he walked towards me and raised my sleeve, I could smell him, it was like wood on a rainy day with a touch of peppermint. Our eyes met and he started examining my arm- your skin is very red, you should probably put some ice on it.
-I will.- he looked at me skeptical- I promise, ok? I just, I have to be alone right now, if you don't mind.
I walked to my room and got back in bed, the tears started running down. What if Draco wasn't there? The things that could've happened scared me, and every time I closed my eyes I saw Miles' face.
-Bella? Are you crying?- Meg said without leaving her bed.
-No, it's alright.- I wiped them out and took a deep breath.
-I know it isn't.- she got up and laid down besides me- And I also know you don't want to talk about it, so we don't have to talk.
-Thank you.- she hugged me and I started feeling better.
