Author POV
Kurapika stared at you, watching every move (Y/n) made. "Wow Kurapika, I didn't know you were the crushing type" Leorio whispered not enough for (Y/n) to hear, as he nudged Kurapika's shoulders smirking and wiggling his eyebrows in a playful manner.
"I am not." Kurapika blushed and went to the other side of the room to avoid any eye contact. Killua and Leorio started laughing hard, but as soon as (Y/n) turned (y/p) head to look at them they stopped laughing. And when (y/p) turned her head back, the started laughing again. (Y/n) just rolled (y/p) eyes and went to the other side of the room where Kurapika was and sat next to him. (y/p) was still reading the book.
"You must really like the book don't you?" Kurpika took another good look at you with your face in the book.
"Hm? I'm just really bored." (Y/n) said as (y/p) finished the book and closes the book. (Y/n) sighed out of tiredness, and took another book from Kurapika's pile.
The day soon turned into nightfall and everyone was tired and was practically sleeping except for (Y/n). This time (y/p) wasn't reading the book instead was staring at the ceiling. Drowning herself in her thoughts about where (y/p) gonna head after (y/p) finishes the hunter exams. (Y/p) was also thinking about what Kurapika told (Y/p) at the arena.
'I need you to promise me not to leave. And that you'll help me with the Phantom Troupe'
Those words repeated in (y/p) head over and over again. (Y/n) then got up from the floor and went to her bag and took out a photo of her clan.
"I'll pass the exam. I will." (Y/n) mumbled looking at the photo and then looking back up to see Kurapika awake, sitting up.
"Sorry did I wake you up?"
"No,"
"Why are you awake?" Kurapika continued to make his way next to you.
"Can't sleep." (Y/n) simply said. (Y/p) fiddled around with the hem of (y/p) shorts.
