Chapter 25: Sleepover
Sunday 8:30pm
Jackie's POV-
Everyone is nice and cozy on the couches, the popcorn is ready and the pizza is on the way. We all decide to watch Neighbors. I've been wanting to watch this movie since forever. It looks hilarious. About half way through the movie were all cry laughing. Cry laughing is when you laugh so much you start to cry. When the movie ends we're all out of laughs.
"We should play a game!" I suggest.
"How about hide and clap?" I add. I remember that game from The Conjuring.
"How do you play that?" Daniel asks.
"Well, it's like hide and seek but the people hiding have to clap because the people looking for them will be blindfolded and dizzy but the people hiding can clap 3 times but that's only when the person looking for them says so." I say. They all nod and no one looks confused. I get a scarf hanging on the hook by the door.
"Who goes first?" I ask. Daniel shouts. I quickly tie the scarf over his eyes.
"Can you see?" I ask. He shakes his head. Perfect.
"Okay, one, two, three, four..." I say while spinning him. Then I run to hide.
"Remember ten spins!" I shout from upstairs.
"Okay!" He shouts back. I run to hide. I go to my room. I make sure no one is there and lock the door. I go to hide. I go into the kitchen and sit behind the counter. I hear him shout first clap. I wait for a few claps and then clap myself. I hear him walk around. I hear someone scream, someone has been found. The thing I forgot to tell them is you can move around as long as you don't make noise. I look around the corner and see Daniel walking over here. I quickly go the other way and get out of the kitchen. I see who has been found, Natalie. I smile.
"Jackie's over here!" Natalie shouts. Daniel comes into the living room and takes off the scarf from his eyes. Soon everyone else is in the living room. She's seriously getting on my nerves, it's not even about what she did now. I just roll my eyes.
"You want to try again?" I say looking at Daniel. He shakes his head. Great Natalie ruined the spirit.
"Who wants to go?" I ask them. Lismarie raises her hand. I tie the scarf over her eyes and we do the same thing. I run to hide but Natalie pushes me out of the way. Ryan holds me so I won't fall. I smile. He kisses me on the cheek.
"Connor would have kissed you on the mouth." Natalie says. I roll my eyes and ignore her. Why is she acting like this? I notice Natalie went upstairs so I stay downstairs. I run into the bathroom. I hear Lismarie say first clap. I wait for some claps and then clap myself. I left the door open to make it easier for her. I hear her walk upstairs. I sit down and wait. I hear footsteps and become still, I even hold my breath. I stand up and go behind the door. I look through the opening and see nothing. Then I feel a hand wrap around me and a hand covering my mouth. I kick the person behind and I'm about to scream but it's just Al. I smack his shoulder.
"You scared the living shit out of me!" I whisper yell. He chuckles.
"I needed to go to the bathroom." He says. I feel my cheeks heat up of embarrassment. I run out of the bathroom and go to the living room. I sit on the couch. I hear someone coming down the stairs. It's Natalie. I tackle her to the ground and cover her mouth. She pulls my hair. Is that really how she's going to defend herself. I focus on covering her mouth. If Liam or Ryan was here they would be trying to get me off of her. She kicks me in the leg. Still don't feel anything. That's when she punches my back. Still don't feel anything. She bites me, I pull my hand away. I stand up see that my hand is bleeding. She gets up and punches me. I punch her back but my fist stops a few centimeters away from her nose. I breathe heavily. I was about to punch her, I need to control myself. Liam is the first to appear at my side and holds me. I collapse in his arms. I feel the tears in my eyes.
