Wailing in the streets| Hamilton Zombie AU.

Chapter 1...

Laurens peered through a tiny crack in the door, he could see the zombies piling outside, he shivered at the thought of anyone getting bitten by one of these.

(John's Pov)

"John?...." asked a familiar voice, It was Alexander Hamilton.

"Y-yeah?" I responded hesitantly, worry pulsed through my body, I could feel my legs shaking. Hamilton put his hand on my shoulder then pulled me into a hug.

"What did you see?..." Alexander asked slowly, he looked over to Herc and Laf discussing something and peered back at me.

"The zombies are all outside right now..." I said in a shaky voice, Alexander hugged me again and we started walking towards the other two.

(Alex's Pov)

"Well? what did Laurens see?" asked Lafayette, I looked over and saw John scrunched up on the couch beside Herc.

"He saw the zombies outside our door, we need to leave this building before they break in..." I say in a serious tone, trying to hide my fear.

'I need to be brave for John... for everyone' I thought sharply, Lafayette had doubt shining in his eyes at how we'd get out.

"You're crazy! The only way we could get out is through the window!" said Lafayette.

"Listen, we're not that high up, I'm sure if we just ju-" Lafayette cut me off.

"Shhh everyone I hear something coming from the window, luckily we have blinds.." he began, the knocking cut him off.

knock...knock... knock...

"Who's there?" asks Herc sharply, his arms around Laurens.

"It's me, Thomas! please open up! We have a pack of zombie chasing us!" yelled Thomas, I could hear another person coughing beside him, he mumbled something that I couldn't quite make out.

(Thomas' Pov)

Madison and I walked through a forest trying to find food, there were more zombies in the city than in the forest. Burr, Lee, James Reynolds, Adams, and Seabury followed behind us.

"How long have we been looking for?" asks Burr tiredly, I shrug and we continue walking.

"I hope the girls are okay." puffs Madison calmly.

"Yeah, I agree," I say coldly, I didn't really like the girls as much, Angelica once slapped me across the face because I tried flirting with her.

Hours and hours went by, we still couldn't find food. I could hear some owls cooing in the distance and our walking as we walked through the leaves.

"Jefferson, I think we're going in circles," states Madison, I look at him and sigh.
"No we're not, calm down," I say warmly, Madison smiles.

"I think we are, Thomas. I've seen this rock before," says Burr in a rather disgusted tone.

"Guys can we please sleep now?" asks Seabury quietly, Madison and I look at each other.

"No, we shouldn't. The last time we slept out in the forest with the girls we got attacked by zombies, I think we should keep moving," says Adams.

"I agree." Charles Lee smiles.

"Maybe if we find a shelter we could rest," I suggest bluntly.

"Possibly," replies Madison, Samuel Seabury sighs and we continue walking, suddenly I see a small cottage.

"Should we stay in this?" I ask, Madison shrugs and Adams suggests that we should check it out first. We all agree.

"It's really dark in here, does anyone have a candle or flashlight?" I ask in an impatient tone.

"Yeah, here's a flashlight." Lee gives me a flashlight and I begin to clear out some cobwebs.

"Well, what does everyone th-" Madison was cut off.

BANG

A zombie had broken down the door with a crash, Madison screamed and hid behind me, shards of glass broke onto us and cut our skin.

"Everyone!!! RUN NOW!!!" I scream as loud as I can, Lee, Burr, Madison, and I make it out safely, as we run I see Seabury, James Reynolds, and Adams get bitten by zombies.

'NO!!!' pain flashed through my eyes as I realized that they are now gone, forever.

"GUYS PLEASE KEEP RUNNING!!" screeched Madison, the zombies were getting further behind us, we were in the city and I saw a house, I could see people inside of it! I realized that zombies were guarding the front door so we need to sneak in through the back window.

I knock quietly.

knock...knock...knock...

It was silent for a second until I hear a deep voice.

"Who's there?" says the deep voice sharply.

'It's Herc! Thank god!' I think quickly, I peer over again and see more zombies closing in soon.

"It's me, Thomas! please open up! We have a pack of zombies chasing us!" I yell and Madison starts to cough, I rub his back and he whispers.

'I love you...'

(Lafayette's Pov)

I open the window and help the four boys inside, they were bleeding and had cuts all over them, Poor Madison looked the worse, I quickly snap the window closed and lock it, Madison begins to cough more and Thomas' gaze was sickened with worry

'I wonder what they had to go through?'

"Do you mind telling us what happened, mon ami?" I ask I was very interested in what the outside world looked like currently.

"Let's clean them up and let them rest, we can deal with this tomorrow," says Alexander dryly, I nod and we help them clean up.
