15. Head over heels

My blood boiled to see that prick holding her hand. He said something to her to which she stomped her heel on his foot. He hissed and yelled at her. She didn't bother to even look at him. She waved her hair and walked inside.

Though that made me smile, I was so angry inside. It was not that she won't have boys hitting on her. She's so beautiful to begin with. Her eyes are just enough to make men fall at her feet. She's got the beauty which makes her unique. I bet she'll easily win any beauty competition.

I waited for a little bit more after she went inside. I wanted to make sure she's safe. After about ten minutes, I called her.

"Sir?"

"Are you safe inside?" I asked right away.

"Yes sir, I'm fine. You didn't leave yet?" She asked and I looked at the apartment to see her peeking through her window. As soon as she saw me, she waved her hand lightly.

"Yeah, I'm leaving. Just checking on you" I said and she understood what I'm talking about.

"Don't worry about that, I know how to defend myself" I smiled at her answer. I hung up and she smiled at me though the glass. I smiled back and started my car.

I drove to my place and quickly changed my clothes after a shower. Taking my phone, I texted her.

Reach the office at sharp 8. I need ti discuss about the design

I kept the phone aside and started doing my work on the laptop. After dinner, I decided to check my phone and my lips automatically curled to see her reply.

Sure sir, I'll be there on time

I decided not to reply and kept my phone away.

The next day

I started from my place fifteen minutes to 8. It was a different kind of energy I am feeling today though I don't know how to explain it.
I decided to skip my breakfast cause I'm not really a early bird.

I reached the office on time but she hasn't arrived yet. I opened my laptop and started working when I heard a knock. I asked her to come in.

She was wearing a light blue shirt with a dark blue skirt and paired it with a jacket over. Her skirt was a bit too tight making her curves clearly visible. I drank a sip of cold water as she sat in front of me.

She placed her iPad and a file in front of me and it had the new design. She leaned in and started explaining the idea. I must agree she is really smart. She made the best use of the space and came out with a beneficial product. I was so impressed by her skills. This just made me like her more. Beauty with brains!

After finishing, she leaned back to her seat and looked at me, waiting for the answer. She looked so cute, her eyes twinkling and the nervousness in her face. I stood up from my chair and walked around the table to notice her fingers being crossed. I chuckled at that.

"That's really a great idea you got there"

Her smile widened and she looked so happy. She stood up from her seat in excitement. She squealed a little and as soon as she realised me looking at her, she cleared her throat and adjusted her skirt.

"Thank you Mr. Calland" I nodded.

"I'll get back to you after looking at it a bit more and discussing" She nodded immediately. Taking her bag, she gave me a hard disk. I took it and she smiled.

"Everything I have explained is all in here. You may recheck it. If any problem, let me know sir" she answered professionally and I nodded.

"You may leave" I dismissed her. She took her things and walked to the door when I heard her stomach growl softly. I was amused to hear it and she quickly turned around to look at me.

I pretended not to hear it and continued my work in my laptop. She looked at me for a second and I looked up at her, narrowing my eyes.

She quickly shook her head and walked out of my cabin, clutching her bag to her stomach. I chuckled after she left. She's so cute, literally. I wanted to squeeze her chubby cheeks and kiss them. I wonder how she will react.

It's already past two hours and the office is almost full. I called the pantry and had a sandwich and a coffee sent to her cabin and ordered myself a coffee.

Time flew by and it was already afternoon. I was going to have lunch with my buisness partner when she suddenly stopped me.

"Thank you for the breakfast" she said shyly.

"The growl was cute though"

Her eyes widened and she looked back at the ground.

"I'm sorry"

"You no need to apologise Priscilla" she nodded and walked away smacking her head a little bit.

Gosh! She's literally making me fall for her. I don't know what I felt the first time I saw her but right now I like her.

Everything about her is so elegant but at the same time cute. She's perfect but there are still little imperfections in her. I bet there are more into those beautiful eyes cause she looks like she's hiding something. I'll try to find that out soon.

I won't be surprised if I fall head over heels for her on a short time. She's worth it.
