Cheating Death(Yandere Jason Todd)

Chapter 2.

"Before leaving Gotham Amethyst gave Jason her phone number and he promised to call her once he had a phone and he hoped that she and her father would return back to Gotham soon, it was within a few days Jason had met Bruce Wayne. He also kept his promise to contact Amethyst as soon as he got a phone, Amethyst almost immediately responded to Jason saying how happy she was hearing from him and seeing that he had his own phone. During the weekends Amethyst would talk to Jason over the phone during his free time from Bruce in his training of being the new Robin, he ended up telling her the truth about his father killed by two face and his mother died of illness. Amethyst was a little shocked at first but hearing that was adopting by a billionaire she was even more shocked, she didn't want him to say who it was and she wanted to figure it out herself as a type of challenge. As for Jason Bruce did ask who he was calling so often and he told him about Amethyst and her father and how her father was starting his own company from what he knew, during that time Amethyst was at school at there library during around lunch and picking out a manga to read with what little free time she had and from the very small selection her school had. 

"The school selections are so boring." Amethyst thought that while looking at the selection and seeing that none of the issues had got her interests nor she already reed or already has, just when she was about to pick one a boy from her grade had approached Amethyst. She knew him as one of the popular guys in her school and she already knew what he wanted from her and told him that she wasn't interested in dating and she left without getting a single manga to check out, the boy didn't give easily he kept trying to convince her to go on one date with him and she kept rejecting him and told him to back off. Amethyst knew that the popular kids had a dating list in her grade and there lists would increase more when they entered High School, thanks to some of her Asian friends that was one of the popular kids older sibling she found discovered that she was the grand prize on those lists and she refused to take part in any of it. A lot of people saw her as beautiful object and she hated it, Amethyst was a good student with good grades and had a love of music and acting and recently a strong love of anime, she felt comfortable around people that had the same interests as she did. Amethyst was in theater club and along with some music classes, Amethyst felt a stronger connection with acting and writing music. She decided to write her own music, just when she started developing her brand new hobby her dad told her that he planned on starting dating again and she was alright with it. When summer vacation kicked in her father had to go to Gotham again on business and of course Amethyst told Jason about it and when she would be there, in return Jason asked Bruce to met with Amethyst's father to see if he wanted to be one of the buyers for his company. Bruce did call Amethyst's father and asked him if he wanted to disuse some business with him, Amethyst's father was shocked and happy that the owner of Wayne Enterprise wanted to go into business with him. 

On the day Amethyst and her father arrived Amethyst was told to wear something a little more nicer since she was going to be with her father upon meeting Bruce Wayne himself Amethyst had called Jason in telling him that she and her father had made it to Gotham and was heading to Wayne Enterprise and to her surprised he told her that he would be there waiting for her, it took about half an hour to get to the building and upon getting out of the taxi Amethyst saw Jason and hugged him as a greeting. Her father noticed that is clothes where new and was taken well care off, Jason complicated Amethyst saying she looked beautiful in the dress she was wearing even though it wasn't a flashy dress nor was it too fancy and he offered her a tour of the building while her dad was at his meeting. Amethyst took his offer and while her dad was heading to the meeting room Jason told her that Bruce Wayne had adopted him, it really shocked her and of course she asked him how he met him. Jason told her that he tried steeling Bruce's car tires and left out that he met him while Bruce was Batman, Jason had explain his reason to Bruce and he decided to adopted him like he did with his adopted older brother Dick Grayson in a similar situation to his. However after he had finished telling his story he couldn't help but notice some of the employees starting at the two of them, he realized that they where staring at Amethyst and she was aware of it as well. Jason kept holding her hand as they both started to speed walk Amethyst tried her best to ignore the stares like she normally did, eventually Jason had introduced Amethyst to Bruce Wayne after he was done with his meeting with her father. Bruce was surprised seeing Amethyst like everyone else when they first see her, he did get a closer look at her to get a better view of her eyes that got his attention the most.

"Um...Hello Mr.Wayne I'm Amethyst I'm an honor to met you." Amethyst spoke to to him in the nicest way she could to him and he smiled a calm smiled to her

"It's nice to meet you too Amethyst. That name suits you I've never seen eyes like your before in my life they look just like the gemstone. I can tell your going to be quite the beauty when you get older." Amethyst couldn't help but blush when she heard that from Bruce Wayne himself, Bruce then offered both Amethyst and her father to have dinner with that at his estate and they accepted. Though she didn't show it Amethyst didn't really want too, she hadn't told her father nor her friends that she was writing her own anime music of Death Note.( Not that since this is DC universe not a lot of anime had been turned into musicals, in the timeline the anime had recently ended and had a large fan following in the anime community.) She had hoped to have some alone time to write her scripted and sheet music, with all the free time she has she managed to get almost half of it done within a month. 

  Arriving at the Wayne Manor Amethyst was speechless since she had never been in a manor before and only seen them in anime's or on TV, she did met their butler Alfred and he too was surprised seeing Amethyst. He told her she had the most beautiful eyes he had ever seen and never seen anyone with jewel like eyes, Jason did butt in for offering Amethyst a small tour of the manor that he was allowed to show and Amethyst gladly accepted and Jason took off with her. Amethyst was speechless seeing and being inside a mansion like the one she was on and loved the library in seeing it was just how she pictured it, her favorite part of the manor was the garden seeing how well cared the flowers where. Amethyst asked Jason to take picture of her in the garden with her Fujifilm instax camera and she was more than happy to do it she asked for two picture in which he did, once the pictures where printed out she gave one of them to Jason for him to keep and he took it. The more time Jason spent with Amethyst the more he started to devolve feelings for her.
