Cheating Death(Yandere Jason Todd)

Chapter 8.

As Amethyst thought both her father and stepmother had planned on there honeymoon on lasting an entire week, though it gave Amethyst the perfect opportunity to start moving her belongings to the Wayne manor before her stepmother started hiring maids that weren't necessary. During the transporting for her new lolita dresses that she had already packed she did confront Bruce about her knowing that he was Batman and what gave him away to her, both Dick and Jason where shocked of course. 

"You three have nothing to worry about my lips are sealed, everyone had there own privet lives that people shouldn't know about or not. And yawl's city needs some hero's." They where a little stunned in what she said but they where relieved and happy to see that Amethyst was a trustworthy person, normally someone would go crazy about it. Amethyst was another story that respected privacy and personal boundaries, while she was packing the rest of her things in the truck Jason confronted Bruce about the letter she had gotten during her dad's wedding and showing him the seal in the back of it. Both Bruce and Dick recognized that seal, Bruce took the envelope and said he's look at it once they returned to Gotham. 

Amethyst did thank them again for helping her before they left, what she wasn't aware of the secret cameras that where put in her room by Jason which Bruce and Dick weren't paying attention to him. He wanted to make sure Amethyst was safe and he wanted to know right away if she was in any danger, when they left Amethyst left a little off when she saw half of her closet empty without any of her cosplays or dresses in it and all that was in there was just regular brand clothes that she kept receiving for her Instagram modeling. Lillian did come over to hung out with Amethyst before she had to leave for her acting classes that she signed up for and Lillian wanted to tag along for support which she was alright with, before leaving her house she  did check her mail. It was regular junk mail and some letter for her dad, though one letter stood out she saw a letter with her name written in bold letter. There was no return address nothing else on it besides her name she and her friend thought it was a little odd and Amethyst decided not to open it when she got in her friends car and they both headed off to the agency that was doing her acting classes, it was during that week she started finding the same love letters in her mailbox everyday even after her dad and stepmother had returned. She did confront her father about it with showing him the letters, some of the letters where nice at first but the more recent ones where worrisome. Then not long after the letters weird phone calls started happening Amethyst realized she had a full on stalker, of course her father contacted the police about it. The police couldn't do much since they didn't know who it was and that they didn't harmed Amethyst, but that said they would help in any way they can. Amethyst wanted the creep caught and she contacted Bruce in wanted help with catching the guy, instead of him going himself since he was needed in Gotham Amethyst asked him if either Jason or Dick would be available to help her with her stalker problem. Bruce had thought about asking Dick but Jason volunteered in wanting to help his friend and he told Bruce that he wanted to hang out with her like would normally would when she came to Gotham, Bruce noticed at her father's wedding and when the two of them dance he noticed that Jason had feelings for Amethyst and saw there they had some chemistry. 

With Jason's help in posing as Robin he was able to catch Amethyst's stalker, the creep was in his late thirties and Amethyst was still a minor along when the police raided his place they found thousands of pictures of Amethyst from all her Instagram posts and he was arrested.However just when things got better it got worse, Amethyst father had a heart attack and was taken to the hospital and upon examining him and needed open heart surgery imminently. Unfortunately the doctors weren't fast enough and he died of Heart Aneurysm, Amethyst was very heart broken in losing her father and Jason was there for her in support. He understood her pain and he informed Bruce at what had happened, Amethyst did tell her followers the sad news and had gotten thousands of comments telling her "Sorry for you lose" of course her family did she up at the hospital not long before Amethyst's died. While Amethyst was still with her father's dead body under neath the hospital sheets crying, Rose had came in the room in which Jason allowed since he was guarding the door.

"Amethyst?" Hearing her hand she lifted her hand and looked over at Rose while tears where still falling down her eyes 

"Rose?...Jason let you in?" Amethyst could tell that she wanted to tell her something important which made her stand up

"What's happening out there?" Rose took a deep breath before she spoke

"I overheard my family arguing with your family about who get's what. Did your father write a wile or something?"

"I already knew my dad had heart problems, he didn't tell me directly into not worrying me. I accidentally came across his wile a few months before my mother died. I was the reason how he gained his fortune and where he is now, everything is in my name. However he wrote if he died before I graduated High School all the assets will come to me once I turn eighteen." After Amethyst said that Rose started to get worried

"You know what's going to happen to you once they hear the news about that? My aunt is going to plan something horrible to get that money I just know it." Amethyst started to dry her eyes as she started talking

"Don't worry I didn't trust her then and I sure as hell don't trust her own. I already came up with a plan, if Helen does plan something I have someone that can help me fight her and our greedy realities. When the plans comes to motion would you like to come live with me." Rose smiled with relief and as soon as Amethyst held out her hand Rose took it

"Hell yes, I planned on leaving once I turned eighteen and never speaking to me family again. I happy I have someone I can relate too my problems."

A few days later came the funeral family and family had gathered there, it wasn't a surprised in seeing Bruce Wayne there since he was a close business partner. As her Amethyst she stood close to Rose and Rose did the same with her, a lot of friends felt sorry for both Amethyst's father's new wife and for her now that she lose both parents and what the friends of the family didn't was where her only real family.  A lot of close friends talked during there speak some people cried, when Amethyst stepmother spoke she was crying and Amethyst could tell they where fake tears and wasn't buying it. Rose wasn't buying it either they both knew what kind of person she was, when it was Amethyst's time to speak. She didn't let her emotions get the better of her, the guests where more moved by her speak rather than her stepmother's and it was what she wanted. After her speech was over she put a white Lilly on the casket as it started to go down to the ground to be buried and she walked back to Rose and not long after that they had a wake at a hotel that was near by that her Stepmother had booked the entire hotel for them, for the family members where called by Amethyst's father lawyer about his wile. When they heard what the wile said they where shocked mostly Amethyst's stepmother that wasn't aware of the wile content until that moment, she felt confident that she would get all her father's money and the same with the other family members sides Rose who could care less about it. Amethyst acted surprised in hearing the wile of course she asked why everyone was in her name in acting in disbelief, her real plans where already taking action while her family distracted Bruce and Jason where moving the rest of her anime belongings out of her house. Jason did notify her with a text once they where done moving everything, she didn't notify him until the meeting with the lawyer was over.
