Chapter 5.

Getting back home Amethyst was in a shock of her life hearing that her father purposed to his girlfriend, the second she got the news she started going threw her plan B if it came early and that plan was going into Cosplay and Lolita modeling. She made a call to one of top Cosplay agencies and the almost imminently too her offer and wanted her to start as soon as possible, the rest of Amethyst summer was working as a Cosplay model and she wanted to do more sexier cosplays after she turned eighteen and her new agency agreed with her and even gave her a contracted that she signed along with her dad since she was a minor. She could tell her future stepmother didn't like her choice in modeling and she wanted Amethyst to do something she wanted to do, though Amethyst was very happy getting paid for doing what she loved and she even modeling a little bit on her Instagram in her cosplays along with notifying her followers about her cosplay career. A lot of people where super supportive of her mostly her anime friends and Lillian, of course she did tell Jason about it along with her dad going to marry his girlfriend. She did ended up telling him that she had a secret contract that she father nor his future wife would get any of her earnings and if some of them went missing without her knowledge she would file a lawsuit and knew it would be her future stepmother, along with having the secret bank account they weren't aware off that was now worth more than her father's wealth. 

Before she started school Amethyst had her fifteenth birthday a lot of people sent her gifts and birthday comments and she even had an anime themed birthday at her place, all her friends where there and some of her father's side of the family to show there support. She really didn't like her cousins that where around her age, she felt like they where greedy and cared mostly about themselves and only wanted money. Not to her surprised her sister didn't show up and she was relieved by that, her father told her that she might show up and she knew might was really never. During her party her cousins where asking her about Christmas and giving her ideas on presents that where very expensive, they weren't even trying to hide there greed to her the same with her some of her aunts and uncles that casually talked to her. She wanted to yell and scream at them telling them that they where worthless gold diggers, instead she just told them that she would think about it. She wasn't going to get them those over the top things instead she thought she would just give them fifty bucks since they where worth that much to her, she always did wish she would know who her mother side of the family was. Amethyst thought that maybe they where a little more better than her father's side, just when her mood was ruin it got a little worse when a guy around her age came up and started chatting with her. She recognized him from her school but she never spoke to him, Amethyst didn't invite him and grew suspicious about it. Just when she thought he was going to make a move two unexpected people showed up, Jason had placed his hand on Amethyst's shoulder that shocked her the same with the boy that was with her.

"Jason? T-This is a surprise?" Amethyst had said that to him as the boy that was talking to her had walked off and Jason had answered her

"There's no way I'd miss your birthday." She knew if he was here so was Bruce and she was right, Bruce had shown up as well in support in wanting to wish her a happy birthday as well. A lot of people where shocked to see the two of them, someone even secretly took a picture of Jason and Amethyst with his arm still on her shoulder saying that they where a couple in posting it on there social media. Sadly her father and future stepmother had heard about Amethyst social media and confronted her about it mainly her father was surprised she didn't tell him and she had told him that it wasn't his business, her future mother in law asked her how much she was making from her social media account and that set off some red flags in Amethyst mind and she told her a lie about making around $3,000 a month when really she was making $12,000 a month on her Instagram. The rest of her party went alright a lot of Amethyst friends spoke with Jason in asking how the two knew each other, though Lillian thought there was something a little off about him. Mainly since he didn't leave Amethyst side and glaring at any guy that tried to come near her the same with her greedy family members that wanted money from her, Bruce didn't pay much attention to Jason's actions while he was speaking with some of parents and Amethyst father. The party lasted for a few more hours Lillian did a live video of Amethyst on her Instagram with her cake along with showing off all the gifts she had gotten, Jason had waiting till most of her party guests and her family members had left in giving Amethyst her gift.
