Luz's fight

Luz's POV

I woke up and clutched my eyes back shut because of the light.

'Where am I?' I thought.

I tried to get up to stretch then something held me down.

"Amity?" I whispered.

I stared at the youngest Blight in awe.

'She's so..cute' I thought, a bit of blush rising to my face.

"Amity" I said more louder.

Amity mumbled something and held me closer to her.

"Isn't it to early to go to class?" She mumbled.

I looked over at the clock and, she was indeed right.

"Can we..just stay like this" Amity asked in a low voice.

I have her a genuine smiled and nodded. I laid back down and Amity rested her head on my chest as I smiled.

"I can hear your heartbeat.." Amity mumbled.

I brushed my fingers through her hair and she slowly fell asleep as I stared at her, my face went all red.

'What's wrong with me? My face is red and my heart can't stop beating!' I thought.

"Hey mittens-!" Edric said coming through the front door.

"Shhhh! She's sleeping" I whispered.

Edric smiled and sat on the bed with us.

"I've never saw mittens so....vulnerable" Edric mumbled.

"Me neither, she's..she's kinda cute" I blurted.

Edric chuckled and patted me on the back.

"Just get to school on time, ok?" He asked.

I put my thumbs up, and then I noticed Amity's face was all red.

"Amity? We should get ready" I whispered.

"I'm so tired though Luzzzz" Amity mumbled.

"Come on Ami" I said, picking her up bridal style.

Amity then realized what was going on.

"Luzzzz! Put me down!" Amity yelled.

I laughed and dropped her on her bed.

"Are you awake now?" I asked laughing.

She grumbled and went to go get ready.

~20 minutes later~

"Amityyyy! You've been in there for 10 minutes! We need to go!" I yelled.

Amity grumbled and walked out.

"How do we get there though?" I asked.

Amity grew a smirk and went to her closet and pulled out a stick.

"I learned a new spell, a teleportation spell!" Amity said with enthusiasm.

She drew a circle in the air with her stick and then a weird portal formed.

"Do..do you trust me?" Amity asked.

I smiled and grabbed her hand.

"I trust you Amity, with my life"

She smiled and clutched my hand.

"Let's see if this works" Amity said.

We walked through the portal and then showed up at school.

"Woah..that was really cool Amity.." I mumbled.

She blushed and nodded.

I dragged her into the school and our day went on from there.

Amity's POV

I was sitting in class, bored and without Luz. Then we all heard commotion going on in the hallways. Everyone but me went out there.

"Stop arguing you two!" I heard someone yell outside of the room.

I was now curious, I walked out of the room to see Luz and Matt arguing, they both look pissed!

"Just admit it you human! You don't belong here!" Matt yelled.

"Hey! Leave her alone!" I yelled, pushing Matt back a bit.

Matt grunted and glared at Luz.

"Next time your little girlfriend won't be here, and when she's not, your dead Noceda.." Matt said, walking away.

Luz shivered and looked over at me.

"Are..are you ok Luz?" I asked.

Luz looked over at me and hugged me.

"Thanks Amity.." she mumbled.

I wrapped my arms around her and blushed more.

"I'm annoying aren't I?" Luz mumbled, resting her head on my shoulder.

"No Luz, your not annoying" I said, putting the book down.

"I just, do I not belong here?" Luz asked.

"Well, to be honest, your not..normal here. But you are unique" I said.

"I just want to feel ordinary, but also want to feel special.."

"You'll always be special to me Luz" I said.

Luz smiled and held my hand.

"Thanks Amity.."
