Why..

(Warning SHIT IS GOING DOWN! And this is the last chapter of this book :(, but I will be making a sequel to it!)

"Luz! We came as fast as we heard!" Willow yelled, dragging Boscha along with her.

That won't change what happened to her..

"Thank god your alright! But how's Amity doing?" Willow asked.

She sacrificed everything for me...

"We have no intent if she's alive yet.." I mumbled.

It should have been me..

"Damn, what even happened?" Boscha asked.

I loved her..

{Flashback}

"M-mom! W-what are you doing here?!" Amity said in a panicked tone.

"I came home early- why are you kissing someone?!" Mrs. Blight yelled.

"Because I love her! We were just about to leave anyways" Amity huffed.

I got up, knocking down my hood and revealing my ears.

"Is that..a human?!" Amity's mom yelled.

Ed hear the commotion and peeked his head.

I noticed him and he could see the panic in my eyes.

"Mom, I need your help so can you come with me?" Ed said.

Mrs. Blight walked out and Amity quickly turned to me and grabbed my wrist.

"We need to get out of here.." Amity said in a panic.

I nodded and we ran out the front door.

"W-where are we going?" I asked.

"I-I don't know!"

I looked up into the sky and it look like it was gonna rain..oh shit.

"A-Amity, it looks like it's gonna rain!" I yelled.

Now she was even more panicked.

"Shitshitshitshitshit! W-we need to find a safe place to hide before-." Before Amity could finish her sentence a drop of acid rain dropped on Amity's arm.

"Amity! A-are you ok?" I rushed to Amity's side and gave her my sweater.

"Wear this, it'll be less painful" I said.

Amity gave a weak smile and pulled us into a cave.

"It's really pouring out there, huh.." Amity mumbled.

"Y-yeah" I said.

I was really cold, but if Amity was happy I'm fine..

"Hey Luz are you ok?" Amity asked.

I shivered and nudged closer to Amity.

"I'm k-kinda cold, but your warm.." I mumbled, as I rested my head on Amity's shoulder.

Amity smiled and put an arm around me.

"Hey, do you think we should make a run for it!" I questioned.

"Hell yeah!" Amity said jumping up.

We were ready to run out, but before we did I grabbed Amity's hand.

"No one left behind" I said.

Amity nodded and we ran into the rain. Our vision was blurry but we still ran.

I fell and tripped over.

"Luz!" Amity yelled.

"J-just keep on g-going! I'll catch up!" I yelled, starting to get back up.

About an hour later I showed up at the owl house, all hurt and bruised up.

"L-luz! Are you ok?!" Amity yelled, running to my side.

As soon as she could be into my vision I blacked out....

I woke up. I wasn't hurt, or bruised up. All I could see was Eda helping Amity on the couch- shit..Amity!

"Amity!" I yelled.

Eda shushed me and looked back at Amity.

"She reversed the pain..she's not doing to well kiddo...I'm sorry, I can't do anything else to help her" Eda said.

I teared up and sat at Amity's side.

"This is all my fault Ami, I-I'm sorry..I love you.." I whispered

"Luz! We came as fast as we heard!" Willow yelled, dragging Boscha along with her.

"Thank god your alright! But how's Amity doing?" Willow asked.

"We have no intent if she's alive yet.." I mumbled.

"Damn, what even happened?" Boscha asked.

"It was my fault..I-I'm sorry I can't do this right now" I said, running up to my room.

I cried myself to sleep that night, and I couldn't stop but wonder...

"What if I left the boiling isles?"

2 weeks later, I was finished packing up and picked up my bag.

Before I left out the door, I looked at poor, fragile Amity.

"I love you.." I mumbled before leaving the owl house.

I clicked the yellow button, ready to go through the portal.

"Wait!" Someone yelled from behind me.

I turned around and was shocked to Amity, holding me in a tight embrace.

"I love you too, Lulu.." Amity whispered into my ear.

I start crying and I hugged her back.

Between each sob I mumbled 'I'm sorry' over and over.

"Please don't leave Luz, I'll miss you too much.."

"I have to, I don't want to put you through any more pain.." I said.

Amity start crying loudly and held me closer.

"Nonononononono, I need you Luz, I need you in my life..I-I-I love you too much.."

Her cry's cut deeper than a knife. I couldn't control my cry's.

"I have to go home Amity.."

She finally let go and looked up at me.

"What are you doing to me Noceda.." she said.

I smiled and gave her a deep kiss. She wrapped her arms around me and kissed back. We pulled back and I passed her my beanie.

"Don't forget about me Blight" I said.

She put the hat on her head and smiled.

"When, or if you ever come back again..I'll be waiting for you, I love you Luz.." Amity said, smiling.

"I love you too Amity, Ill never stop loving you.." I said.

I looked back at her once more until I walked through the portal.

"I'll miss you.."
