Chapter 16

**Luke's POV**

I wake up and notice that Julie is still sleeping quietly on my chest. I pull her closer and try not to wake her up. She is so adorable when she's sleeping. I remember when we were together and she always fell asleep on my chest. 

"Luke are you awake?" Ashton said interrupting my daze. 

"Yeah" I answer in a whisper.

"Why are you whispering?" He said.

"Julie is still sleeping and I don't want to wake her up." I relpy. 

He fell back where he was laying and took out his phone. I look back down at Julie squinting and digging her head into my chest further. She only does this when she usually doesn't wanna wake up or she's having a bad dream. 

She starts squirming beside me and I now know she's having a bad dream so I try and wake her up but before I do she hits me really hard in the spot where I got really hurt. 

"Ssss" I yelp out in pain. As soon as I did that Julie was up in a second. 

"Luke?" Ashton asked sitting up.

"Yeah" I said with pain in my voice. 

"Luke what happened?" Julie asked me. 

"I don't know for sure but you were squirming and I thought you were having a bad dream so I tried waking you up and you hit me in the spot where I got really hurt." I reply.

"Oh Luke I'm so sorry." Julie said cuddling into me.

"It's fine. I would rather have you hit there than anyone else." I said not above a whisper.

All Julie did was look me in the eyes and nod. I really wish she was mine to hold and kiss. I look down and see Julie has a ring on her left hand. She's not engaged is she? 

My thoughts were interrupted again but not by anyone in the room but by the doctor. 

"Luke? Luke? Lucas?" The doctor said getting my attention.

"Yes sir?" I said snapping out of my thoughts.

"I said you can go home today. All we need is someone related to you to sign off on the papers. It doesn't have to be your parents since you're 18 but it does have to be someone related to you." The doctor explains.

"Umm..." I say but get interrupted. 

"Would fiancee count?" Julie asks.

"Yes ma'ma. Are you his fiancee?" The doctor asks Julie.

"Yes sir I am. What do I need to sign?" Julie says getting up following the doctor out. 

"Wait what just happened?" Calum said confused.

"Um I'm not sure." I say confused myself. Why would she say that she's my fiancee? Are we together?

Julie comes back in with a smile on her face but not looking at anyone but the ground. 

"So what's the plan?" I ask her when she comes over to me.

"Well you can go home anytime because I signed the papers." Julie explains.

"Um Julie why did you say you were Luke's fiancee?" Calum asked her still confused. 

"I knew the doctor knew that you guys weren't related to him so I just said I was his fiancee so he wouldn't have to call anyone and wait any longer because I know he wants to get out of this hell hole." Julie explained to Calum.

"Oh okay. Well that was sweet." I said.

"You're welcome Lukey" Julie said smiling.

"So are you going back home?" Michael asked Julie.
