Chapter 4

Detention

*Noah's Pov*

The rest of the day went without any further problems except that Edward was smelling like chocolate because of the ice cream thrown at him and Sid whose nose was in a bad shape and Jenny whose hair were destroyed by Max. Rest everyone was fine but I was still surprised that why Edward and Mary were given a detention.

When the class ended I asked Edward about why he got a detention
"I ended up in the girls washroom hence breaking school rules."
"And what about Mary?"
"Why do you care man whore." Mary suddenly yelled at me. She has always called me man whore and I know that I would get a reply similar to the one if I answered back. Edward with absolute politeness told me that it was Lina who reported Mary for not submitting her assignment on time.

*Mary's Pov*

It was all because of Jenny that I ended up in detention. Who needs enemies when you a friend like Jenny. The notebook she took or rather stole had notes for my assignment and it's all because of her that I have to face this damn detention but I was glad that I am not alone. Literally all the troublemakers are present except me and Edward, we ended for the mistakes which we didn't committ on purpose but now it was time to face the DETENTION.

We all gathered in the hallway and moved towards the other class where Mr. Heath would be waiting for us to teach us how to be civilized. Ughhh I am starting to hate it from now only.

"Hey Mary what did you do that you are in here?" seriously Jenny is asking me this. I wish I could break that bitchface of hers but I kept quiet and decided to give her the silent treatment. Soon we all reached the class and Mr. Heath asked us to take seats. I wanted it so bad to sit beside Edward so I quickly went towards the seat where Edward was sitting and seeing me sitting beside Edward, Jenny was shocked as fuck and Noah also gave me a wierd look. Then I noticed that Mr. Heath was also giving me that angry look and then he growled "I just said boys on the right and girls on the left side. Now! "

(when did he said that I don't remember do you guys remember huh?)

I stood from there and sat next to Lina and saw the disappointment on Jenny's face but it was somehow still better than Lina sulking sitting next to me. Mr. Heath called Noah and asked him about why he punched Sid. They were having a conversation which was inaudible to us. I saw that Max came up and sat next to Edward. Soon Noah returned but Mr. Heath wasn't with him. Must be gone to bring some textbooks for us to read.

And it was just a few seconds that Max started to flirt with Edward. I was so mad at him but couldn't do anything except staring.

"Hey man you know you are really tall and" Edward interrupted Max " I am 16 that means I am still not under that man category"
"Of course, you are one hot guy. I wonder what you would feel like in bed." Max was getting way too cheesy I am going to puke if this shit goes on a little more longer.

*Edward's Pov*

"Stop it, you are.... No, you are making me uncomfortable. Stop Max." I was feeling really awkward and a little scary because Max was pressing against my crotch and perhaps he was trying to kiss me. I could have pushed him away but I am already in detention on my first day and I don't any more trouble and then I heard Noah shouting, "He said no Max."

Hearing this Max immediately stopped his actions and stood up. I could sense it since his seat was pushed back. One more thought was biting me which was that why is everyone scared of Noah because at cafeteria also no one sat with us. I mean I am a new student but there must be some friends of Noah with whom Noah ate during lunch or maybe he didn't have any friends. Well whatever the reason is I will find it.

"Hey man calm down! I won't do anything, we are already in detention and you probably don't want anymore trouble. How about we switch seats." Mac sounded really scared and they switched seats.

"Thanks but I got that, there wasn't any need to do all this." I just wanted to tell that I can protect myself.
"Yeah I saw" Noah is such an asshole, how can he reply like this. But then Mr. Heath arrived and told us to go home. He told us that he had some urgent work so he couldn't remain in school and so our detention ended and we all started to leave the class, just then Mary came to me, " Hey Edward do want me to drop you home. "
"How do you know my address? "
"I was the assistant at the admissions office, but anyway I live on the same way so. "
"He lives upstairs in the building in which I stay and you live just a few blocks away from here. I will take him home and why are you lying Mary? "
It was Sid whom I met at my house in the morning that's why I was wondering that why was he apologizing so nicely. It's good to have a neighbor downstairs who goes to the same school.

Soon we left and Sid told me almost everything important about the class, assignments and places in the city to hang out. And we reached our home he asked me if he wants him to drop him till his floor but I refused and said that I could manage.

As soon as I entered my apartment I just threw my bag and crashed on my bed and I was too tired to do anything else so all I did was sleeping.
