Me and India talked while she helped me unpack. The girl was nuts as fuck but I like that . At one point the girl tried to climb out the window to show me she could fly. once I pulled her back inside we couldnt stop from laughing . Yeah , she was cool.

If nothing else , I could see us being friends . 

The only girl I had ever really been friends with was my sister Raven because every other girl was either wanting to fuck me or wanting to diss me  because they had already fucked me and I has dissed them. 

But I could see India being in my circle.

And then I thought about the shit real clearly. 

If I was no longer friends with Trey and Garret thrn that left my circle even fucking smaller. It was now , what ? Me , Ronald, Drake and Anthony ?

I sighed just thinking about it.

" what ? " India asked curiously over the table. 

I looked at her and stuffed a few fries from my plate into my mouth and shook my head . Nothing.
We were at one of the restraunts that sat just behind the dorms . Turns out , there werent just restraunts and book stores but also a few clothing stores even.

India gave me a little tour.

We were now sitting inside one  of the restaurants. It was called Jill's Diner . It had a real old feel to it and was decorated sorta funky but I liked it. And my burger was on point.

" So , " India said once we had both finished our foods. " what brings you to Brimsom University ?"

" they offered me a full ride scholarship doing what I love. I couldn't turn that down. Plus its only a few hours from my home which i'm sure my family loves."

" a scholarship doing what, may I ask ? "

" basketball."

She smiled. " oh , what a coincidence. Same thing I have a scholarship for. "

I rolled my eyes. " what ? Get the fuck outta here. I can't imagine you on the court. I mean , " I peeped under the table at her legs , " I guess you might have the legs for it but then again - I can't see it . "

" okay , you'll see. Practice starts tomorrow for the girls and I want you front row. "

" im there. " I said quickly. Then I thought about something. " if you're a junior then how come you stool play college ball? You don't want to go to the WNBA ?"

Her eyes flicked outside Anne then back at me before she looked down at the table. " I wanted to. My parents, however, put that idea to an end. They want me to become anything but a basketball player."

" why ?"

" well , my mother is one of those women who teach etiquette on Friday, goes to get her hair and nails done Saturday and on Sunday she's in the gym. Then Monday through Thursday she works in a school teaching girls to be 'polite' and 'lady like' ." She snorted. " she thinks women should cook and clean and look pretty. Be the trophy wife. " 

" and your father ? "

" my father is one of the best lawyers in the city. He doesn't have time to entertain my 'foolishness' , as he so kindly put it. "
