"Vincent.," the principle spoke again. "Meet Deana. She is to be your tour guide to thing school..." I couldn't hear the rest after that. His midnight blue eyes locked with my emerald green eyes.

His black hair just brushed right above his eyes, bringing out the small silver flakes in his eyes. My heart lurched for him, begging to get out of my chest. My legs trembled from beneath me, threatening to make me fall. He smiled a small smirk causing a dimple to peep out a little on his right cheek, making my insides melt at his will.

"Deana!" The principle yells as she snaps me out of my trance.

"Yes?" I questioned. My cheeks filled with blood making me feel even more embarrassed.

She sighed, obviously regretting the fact of choosing me to show him around. "You are going to show Mr. Grace around to his classes. Which means you're allowed to miss your classes if necessary."

I nodded nervously, knowing that Vincent was still watching me with his midnight blue eyes.

"Mr. Grace, welcome to Frederick High School."

I glanced at Vincent who smiled at the principle and began walking towards me. I stumbled back to the door, turning around as i went. My face started turning crimson red, already embarrassing myself in front of the new kid. My hands fumbled with the door knob, my hands shaking desperately to get out of this room.

Finally the door lurched forward, making me land face first on the floor. I heard laughter from behind me, then a reassuring hand on my back. "Are you okay?" I heard an unfamiliar voice mumble near my ear. The voice was strong and sweet, sending warmth throughout my whole body.

Blood rushed to my cheeks, as i slowly nodded and got off the floor. I hid my face from him as we headed out of the principle's office. We went down the maze made of hallways and found our way out in time for the bell.

Once I stepped out the door, I felt a full on force from another human being. I wasn't surprised once i found out who it was.

"Deana!" Leanne shrilled in my ear.

"What Leanne!? What is it you could possibly want!?" my face mumbled into the cold tile floor. Jessie roared with laughter a little farther than where we were laying.

"Someone's in a bad mood," she retorted.

I grew impatient and annoyed with her, so i threw her off of me. I stood up quickly, trying to recover the pride i lost when i got tackled down. I dusted myself off and gave Jessie an annoyed look. "Thanks for the help," I muttered.

"Hey I didn't see that coming," he replied in offence. He chuckled and smile his famous toothy grin. "So, what did they want?"

I just smiled and looked towards Vincent, who was patiently waiting for the little episode to be over with. His eyes met mine and my heart went to a flutter, making me feel giddy inside. I walked towards him and stood right beside him and looked back towards Jessie and Leanne.

"Guys this is Vincent Grace," Gesturing towards Vincent.

I noticed Jessie and Leanne tensed up. Vincent just smiled, revealing his little dimple once more, and extended his hand to introduce himself. "Vincent Nathaniel Grace."

Jessie stood there, still tense and examining Vincent. Finally he took Vincent's hand in his and shook it. "Jessie Jack Cardigan." his voice firm.

Vincent just smiled at him and nodded his head in acknowledgment. He looked towards Leanne and smiled. She was glaring back at him. He stuck his hand out to her and she gently placed hers into his. He turned her hand over and kissed the face of it. Her eyes went blank, then was filled with recognition. She smiled and made a little curtsy, making Vincent bow in return.
