Klaus' plan was perfect, flawless even, and now all he had to do was put it into play. Tyler Lockwood has a lot of friends, useful friends, that will do anything it takes to save him. All he has to do is kill Tyler after he fed on Klaus' hybrid blood, and tell Bonnie the Witch that she has exactly two hours to figure out how to save her wolf friend before he was as good as dead. If there was a way, they'd figure it out.
The Mikaelson made his way to the Lockwood mansion, where he knew he'd find the young werewolf. Respectfully, he knocked on the door. It took a second, but he heard the rustling of a person running down the stairs from behind the door. Klaus could heat another heartbeat, a human one, but he figured it was just Mrs. Lockwood.
Tyler ran his hand through the mess that was his hair before narrowing his eyes when he noticed who was standing before him. "...Klaus?"
"Hello, Tyler." Niklaus greeted, pressing his hand against the invisible barrier stopping him from entering the household. "Care to let me in?"
Tyler winced noticeably. "I'd rather not."
"It wasn't a request." Klaus' eyes darkened but the friendly smile on his lips didn't falter, and it was quite a disturbing sight.
Tyler, having been busy but moments before Niklaus' arrival, was not in the mood to fight. But slowly his brain recognized the danger and began operating in fight-mode. "Listen, Klaus. I don't know what you're doing here but I don't want any part of it. Go away. And do everyone a favour and don't come back."
Well, Nik thought. If you're not going to play nice, neither will I. His friendly façade dropped in under a second and he reached for his jacket pocket. "Don't make me do this, Lockwood." He warned as his lean fingers slipped around the small manual lighter. He was all but ready to snap off a piece of the nice wooden deck he was standing on and set it on fire. He might not be able to step through the doorway, but burning wood sure could.
The teenager stepped out of the safety of his own home and shoved Klaus back by his shoulders. "I said beat it, Klaus."
Nik, being older and stronger in every way, grabbed Tyler by the waist and threw him against a porch beam. It cracked due to the weight of Tyler's body, but Klaus paid no attention to it for he could care less. Tyler scrambled to get up as Klaus kicked him so he'd stay down.
When the younger wolf finally managed to stand up, he didn't have much of a plan. He grabbed his superior by the lapels on his expensive coat that looked suspiciously like something you'd find in Elijah's closet, throwing him backwards towards the door he'd recently exited.
They wrestled some more, and suddenly, Klaus fell through the doorway. Tyler, by shoving him, had invited him in. He didn't notice at first, caught up in colliding his fist with the Original's face. But Klaus smiled. It was almost too easy. He used his superspeed to get away from the teenager and grabbed an empty vase sitting on a decorative table in the entryway they were in.
It moved so fast that even Tyler, with his werewolf reflexes, didn't have time to dodge the piece of pottery flying his way. The impact of the object hitting his face threw him backwards, and he immediately reached for his nose that felt broken. It was similar to the feeling of the time he was tackled to the ground in a football game and landed nose-first in the dirt. And sure enough, he felt the warm red liquid vampires are crazy for run into his hand down his arm.
"Oh no." Klaus said with fake sympathy, "That looks like it hurts. Let me help you with that." He used his fangs to bite through the skin on his wrist, approaching the bleeding man.
Tyler scrambled to his feet. "No way. I don't want your nasty vamp blood."
"That's the thing, Ty... it's not vampire blood anymore." Nik smirked. "And it wasn't a request either."
