Polaroid number six, possibly my favourite one so far, despite the fact you weren't actually there for it.

This was our first anniversary and sadly the first one we didn't actually spend together, due to this being your first ever international call up to the Scotland National Team which I couldn't get off of work for.

Didn't we make the promise that we would lay off any celebrations and gift giving until you were back home? I sure remember making it anyway but you Mr Tierney are something else!  If only I had known, I would've sent something to you in return.

I remember my old boss at the time, Jenny, rushing through the office to tell me that there was a surprise awaiting for me in the office although she was very hush that it was 12 red roses waiting for me. With everyone in the office thinking I was upset about something but I promise you that it was indeed happy tears.

Your surprises weren't finished just there, trust you, you menace. Finishing the office at 5pm as usual, here was Liam waiting outside the building, with no warning. That evening we wen't for a Nandos (our typical go-to meal), with him dropping off more presents from you.

Despite you not being there, I adored this day like no other.

Kieran, you've always been full of surprises and know how to keep me on my toes (sometimes for the worst) but I hope this wee sentiment is a good surprise for you.
