Jungkook was sleeping peacefully until the same old dreams began to haunt him. He tossed and turned, his face contorting in fear as the dream unfolded.

"No!" he screamed, his voice trembling even in his sleep.

Jungkook found himself running through a dense forest, his hand tightly gripping another boy's. Tears streamed down their faces as they ran for their lives, the sound of dashing horses closing in behind them.

"Keep running!" the other boy cried, his face still blur with deep voice choked in fear.

Jungkook glanced back, his heart racing. The horsemen were getting closer, as one of them were aiming at the boy beside him, he didn't understand what's happening to him when his body moved in autopilot, shielding the boy with his back, as the arrow flew through the air, he felt a sharp piercing pain in his back, looking down he found the arrowhead visible through his chest as he fall on the ground, blood dripping from his chest.

"NO!!!!!" Jungkook screamed, his voice echoing in the darkness of his dream.

Jungkook jolted awake, his body drenched in sweat, his heart pounding as if it would burst from his chest. He gasped for air, trying to calm his racing heart, his fingers massaging his temples to ease the throbbing pain in his head.

When The door to his room swung open, revealing his tall, worried father, Jin.

"Baby Kook, are you okay?" Jin rushed over, pulling his only son into a comforting hug. "I was on a call when I heard you scream."

Jungkook clung to his Eomma, still shaken by the dream. "Yes, Eomma, don't worry. It's just the same old dream... but this time, I saw something different." He reached for a glass of water, his hands trembling slightly as he took a sip.

"What did you see, baby?" Jin asked, his voice gentle as he stroked Jungkook's back.

"Eomma, I saw... I don't know how to explain it," Jungkook began, his voice wavering. "You know how I always dream about those two boys?"

"Hmm" Jin hummed in acknowledgment, listening intently.

"This time, one of them was me, Eomma. I saw myself. The boy who got shot... it was me." Jungkook's voice cracked as he buried his face in Jin's shoulder. "Eomma, I don't know what's happening to me," he whispered, tears brimming in his eyes.

Jin held him close, his own mind racing with concern. After a few moments, as Jungkook had calmed down, Jin gently guided him back to bed, encouraging him to rest. "Try to get some sleep, baby. You need it."

Jungkook nodded, watching as Jin left the room, closing the door quietly behind him. He checked the time—11 a.m. It was still early, and since he was on vacation, he decided to try and catch a bit more sleep. But just as he was about to drift off, his phone started ringing.
