Nightwing was currently swinging through the night. It was a slow night and Wally had already retired a little over an hour ago. He had begged Dick to go to bed, for he has been up for over 48 hours, but he refused. Wally simply left him be after a while and headed back to their apartment.

Once alone he let his mind wander. Wally was right, but he'd never admit that to him unless he wanted to make his boyfriend's ego inflate even more.

Taking a withering sigh he sat at the edge of the building, swinging his legs back and forth.

"Why does Wally have to be right?"

He takes a look at his clock, the numbers 1:46 a.m. glaring back at him.

"Maybe it wouldn't hurt to turn in a bit early for the night."

With a grunt he got up and stretched, feeling his muscles pop he sighed in content. Turning around he stops and stares at the store across from him. Didn't Wally say they needed more food?

He grabbed his grappling hook before swinging down, his suit still on since no one will really see him there.

~~~~~~~
 Wally groaned, rolling over and burying his head into his pillow. Usually, Dick was the one that turned off the alarm clock... So why isn't he doing that?!
Finally, the ringing stopped and Wally sighed, snuggling up close to his pillow. A second later his blissful sleep was once again interrupted by that horrible ringing.
He groggily gets up, "Dick, why aren't yo-."
He stops and stares at the darkroom, but even he could tell that his partner wasn't on his side of the bed. He wasn't even in the room!
Glancing to and fro he found his phone ringing on the bedside table. With lightning reflexes he snatched it up, instantly putting it to his ear.
"Dick!?" He questioned in fear.
The other chuckled, "yea. Sorry for waking you up so early."
Wally paused, "early?" He mumbled glancing at the time on his phone, eyes widening. "Early!? Dick, it's 2 in the morning! Have you not been home at all? I retired for the night around 12."
Dick groaned, "no I haven't been home yet. I was just about to come home, but I'm having a problem."
"What is it? Are you having trouble with some bad guy? Do I need t-"
"I need help with shopping."
There was a long pause from both ends before Wally finally spoke. "Shopping?"
"Yea, I just remembered how you said we needed more food so I decided now would be a good time..."
Wally was dumbfounded, "Dick... Just come home. We can do that tomorrow."
"Wally listen," Dick started, "I went to go grocery shopping right?"
"Yea..."
"But literally, there is only one thing in this store!"
Wally, confused yet intrigued, asked, "and what is that?"
"Soup!" The other screamed.
Wally had to pull the phone away so he wouldn't lose his hearing. "Umm... Maybe try going to the next aisle?"
He heard a bit of shuffling before Dick answered him once more. "There's still soup."
"The... Next aisle?"
